Help Me / Re: Countdown to New Year
« on: December 29, 2008, 03:05:06 PM »
Closest I could get was a flash countdown clock that you have to embed into the layout. below is the file and the code you need to enter into a cell to get it to show.

Code:-

<embed src="C:\Users\Gary\Desktop\free-flash-clock-95.swf" width="150" height="150" type="application/x-shockwave-flash">
</embed>

You will need to change the code to where you have the .swf file stored see picture.

Website where the clock came from and it has countless others:- http://free-flash-clocks.com/

Its more of a work around than a soloution for the countdown timer but the analouge clocks could work very well in future layouts.

Where did you make your gif I presume as you use PS alot it was that prog, did you click the forever option on the loop cycle or have you just left it at just once?

I have put a standard animated gif into TD and it worked perfectly on the background.

Hope it helps.

I have my own forum on smf and this was posted on there support pages a couple of days ago.

I for one wouldnt mind an extra login or verification screen if it was needed just so the bar stewards didint win!

Help Me / Re: Another algebraic challenged player

Hi
If you are just giving basic points for a hit, remove this bit fromyour formula +nh and in the box above where you input the formula is a box where it says points for hit, just place 1 in that box and you should have what you need, i think you would achieve the same if you put brackets () around the +nh but im the same as you when it comes to the math stuff! But if you want to do by formula im sure someone else will post for you.

Hi cory,
thanks for this feature any added widgets to make our personal sites more interactive are gratefully received and i only mention this as a bug not as a criticism, when i sort the points coloumn it gives a strange result, the first pic is from a high points Sort and the second is from a low points sort. All the other coloumns work perfectly.

Also i have the limited HTML knowledge to edit the background colours, table colours in notepad or a editor, but i would personally find it useful and I'm sure others would if we could pick the basics of the page IE colours on the way out of the export, I have no idea of the work involved to achieve this so apologies if this sounds like a "can you just....."

Cheers

Gary

The way i would do it is to click on "new" under screen controls, call it seating or something like, put a coloum in, insert a cell "seating chart" add another cell for your controls, I cant seem to see how you can modify the built in one which is good cause you can't stuff it up!

Help Me / Re: i realy don't think this is a TD problem but...
« on: August 15, 2008, 10:35:44 AM »
it would seem its a refresh rate problem which is down to your graphics card a google search will help you change your particular settings. It would seem it happens alot when you have a graphic card built onto your motherboard.

I found out this when I googled "out of range on moniter"

Help Me / Re: Run 2 SnG's in same event?
« on: August 10, 2008, 11:39:47 AM »
Hi again,
You can of course bust two people out at the same time, and as long as there is a prize you will get the "chop" screen right after the move seat dialouge box.
So say you have 16 players and all the 8 players from each table get points, make the prizes goto 16 just share the points from 15-16, 13-14...etc. Then if Bob from Table A busts out just wait till a player from Table B gets knocked out press x and bust them both out they will then share any points and prize money allocated for there 2 places.

More info on chops found in the TD HELP MANUAL

As I understand it you would need two computers to run this as TD wouldnt be able to sort two tournaments which in effect thats what your asking to do.
