Help Me / Prize per hit?
« on: November 04, 2017, 03:34:27 PM »
Anyone know of a way to set up a prize per hit? This is a re-entry tournament, but bounties won't work because the last man standing does not get a "hit" prize.

ah, now I understand. There's a feature called "Countdown" that does a countdown until the start of the tournament. That's what I'm referring to, not the actual clock for the rounds during the tournament.

Great idea, Timmer, but that doesn't work for the countdown. My tournament clock does not show the preceding zero, but the countdown timer does.

Help Me / Format Countdown Clock?

Is there a way to remove the preceding zero from the Countdown clock? I'd rather show "4:57:12" rather than "04:57:12", but I don't see a place to format this. My tournament clock cell doesn't show this preceding zero... Make sense?

Help Me / Re: Bounty Chips

Depends on if Player 3 had more chips than Player 2... If Player 3 had less chips than Player 2, Player 3 did NOT knock out Player 2. Otherwise, I would have ruled as you did.

Installed over the beta, so far so good in a few trials. I will run a full game in two weeks, and will let you know what I find after that.

TDA Rule 66 is a good guideline for penalties:

66: Warnings, Penalties, & Disqualification
A: Penalty options include verbal warnings, one or more “missed hands”, one or more “missed rounds”,
and disqualification. Missed rounds are assessed as follows: the offender will miss one hand for every
player (including him) at the table when the penalty is given multiplied by the number of penalty rounds.
Repeat infractions are subject to escalating penalties. Players away from the table or on penalty may
be anted or blinded out of a tournament.
B: A penalty may be invoked if a player exposes any card with action pending, throws a card off the
table, violates one-player-to-a-hand, or similar incidents occur. Penalties will be invoked for soft play,
abuse, disruptive behavior, or cheating.
C: A player on penalty must be away from the table. Cards are dealt to his seat, his blinds and antes
are posted, and the hand is killed after each initial deal. In stud games if he is dealt the bring-in card he
must post the bring-in.
D: Chips of a disqualified player shall be removed from play.

Differences report attached. The one on the left is the beta2 export, one on the right beta3. Not a big deal, I just didn't see anything about it in the release notes... I should have modified the template for my own use instead of being lazy and formatting the page after export! I've also attached the results using both versions. They are definitely different, and it affects my league's webpage format... again, not asking for a change; it just caught me off guard.

Looks like you changed the html formatting for stats export? Or am I missing a setting?

Thanks for the props, and yes, they had a really tough decision! I think I would have ruled the same... but I think the whole "in the spirit of the tournament" was great.

This actually happened at the WSOP Main Event in 2012: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bUqOgGk4nQo

Baumann raised to 60,000 and Koroknai raised all-in from the small blind. After the big blind folded, Koroknai mucked his cards not realizing that Baumann still had her cards. Ruling was that Koroknai had to pay off the 60,000 bet from Baumann. Very controversial call, but that was their ruling...

After following the above steps, the only time I'm seeing this issue is when the Windows 10 Antimalware Service Executable (aka Real-time protection) is on. As long as I remember to check to see that real-time protection is disabled (Windows 10 won't let you disable permanently) before I launch the TD application, I'm OK.
