Here is my simple layout. (clickable image, will give you bigger image).
I have found the most important elements were (1) the blinds, (2) time.
The dealers like to have the next blinds and some people like the avg. stack.
I got rid of chip colors/denoms (took up too much space).
If I had a faster computer I might add some banners of other elements revolving into some of the spots. But I found that making everything on the screen as big as possible is important (I use 2 x 21 inch monitors for my 2 table games).
Could easily modify to suit your needs. I didn't use global settings though, so it isn't the neatest layout around. I just added my own html elements. Diffent colors for even rounds, but otherwise the same (green tones).
This is my layout for non-ante games (many beginner players at my games, so I am about to give up on ante's even though I am fond of them in tourneys - just too hard to manage).
