After the first hour or hour and a half (next color up); let them do an add-on for the same price and the same amount of chips.

I agree, except I do a double stack for an add on.  This is what my players felt was right and after checking some rebuy structures from the WSOP, I agreed with them.

I guess what confuses me is I don't understand why what you described would not work.  As a matter of fact, I just tried it by entering the HTML you included exactly, and it looks just fine.

I have never claimed to be a computer expert and dont understand these things sometimes.  You being the creater of this program know these things inside and out.  This is another reason I love this program because you respond quickly to these topics.  I will try again to make this work.  If I have any more problems, i will let you know here.  Thank you Corey for all you do.

I know what he means, Corey.  I was there when he typed the thread.  What he means is for the clock to say this:    Bring In:  $25
What it says now is this:   Blinds   $0/$25(he only uses the big blind tab).  What he wants is a formula to get the clock to say bring in and not blinds.  The formula he has for the next round works fine.  Neither one of us could figure out the correct formula.  Thanks in advance, Corey, for not only a great program, but quick responces as well.

General Discussion / Re: Heads up button
« on: July 13, 2008, 06:18:00 AM »
Here is the rule from Roberts Rules of Poker:

3. In heads-up play with two blinds, the small blind is on the button. When play becomes heads-up, the player who had the big blind the most recently is given the button, and his opponent is given the big blind.

Here is where I found it:

http://www.homepokertourney.com/roberts-rules-of-poker.htm#SECTION_4_-_BUTTON_AND_BLIND_USE

The 2008 WSOP rulebook says the same thing; rule 78.  Here is the link:

http://www.worldseriesofpoker.com/pdfs/wsop.tournament-rules.08.pdf

Hope this helps.

I got 2,000 chips (with 4 aces design) from pokergamingproducts.com for about 10 cents per chip. 11.5g casino grade/metal insert.

I just ordered the same chip.  Please let me know what you think of them.  While I have dealt with  pokergamingproducts.com before, I ordered mine from pokerchipmania.com.

By the way, this was done in the name of keeping things simpler for the average user

I do consider myself an average user, however, I am learning as much of this program as I possibly can.  I do thank you for all of your help and thanks again for a great program.

Help Me / A little help here, please?
« on: April 26, 2008, 09:58:32 PM »
2 questions:

1.  In version 2.4.3, a separate screen used to appear before the tournament started and the box used to flash "Ready to Start" or "Countdown to Start....." depending on which you used.  I have a newer version now, but I lost that screen that I liked.  Now I am looking at the Round 1 screen when counting down to start.  Any way to get the pre tourney screen back?

2.  Is there a way to condense the Blind Schedule screen that is used with the clock(love this feature) to get rid of any column that I don't need?  Seeing all of those zeros is very annoying and causes a side scroll I don't want.

I know these forums are a great way to get info as I read them all the time.  I am a little lost on this, though.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

Help Me / Database Organization
« on: February 03, 2008, 10:55:13 AM »
I am starting to organize a player database before the first tournament I run with it.  My question is: Is there a way to set up the database by last name or do I have to go by first name?  Corey, I love this program.  Thank you for doing this. It is worth WAY more than $25.

Suggestions / Adding other games to the list
« on: January 24, 2008, 04:15:34 PM »
Hello Corey.

My friend and I just bought the software and I absolutely love it.  I run mixed game tournaments like the ones you have listed, but I also run Draw and a Draw, Omaha and Hold, Em mix.  Would it be possible to add 5 Card Draw, and A-5 Draw Lowball, maybe even a 2-7 Draw Lowball to the list of games?  I wish I found this software sooner.  Thank you in advance.
