Help Me / Help with importing

I had to reboot my computer due to a virus, so I saved all the tournaments from The Tournament Director onto a flash drive, but I forgot to save the players.
Is there anyway possible to get the stats to show up again without having the exported players list?

I have the tournaments re-established into the system. Thanks.

Help Me / Formula Help
« on: February 23, 2008, 12:30:34 AM »
I would like to people to help me form a points formula.

I have a home game twice a week, and use points to determine season rankings.

Each player gets 1pt. for each $ of buy-in. $10 buy-in equals 10pts.)
Each player gets 1pt. for every $ of cash. ($50 cash equals 50pts.)
Each player gets 2pts. for a knockout.

So overall, if a player buys-in to a $10 tournament and finishes 1st for $50, while busting 3 players......this player would receive 66pts.

If this is possible for a formula, i would like to see it.

I rebooted my computer completely, and thought I save this software, but I did not. Do I have to re-purchase the software, or is their a way I can find my key code?

Corey probably knows, but if anyone else does, please let me know.

Help Me / Need Formula Help
« on: April 05, 2007, 11:23:31 AM »
i am running a mock WSOP tour. Points are based on how much money a individual wins in a tourny. We have $5, $10, and $15 buy-ins. Each person gets a point for each $ bought in. Lets say I win 1st and get $25 in a $5 game. This would give me 25 pts, plus 5 for the buy-in. Total of 30. I would like someone to make me a formula please. Here are the payouts based on how many players are playing.

$5 games

5 players - 1st - $15 2nd - $10
6 players - 1st - $20 2nd - $10
7 players - 1st - $20 2nd - $10 3rd - $5
8 players - 1st - $22 2nd - $12 3rd - $6
9 players - 1st - $22 2nd - $12 3rd - $5.50 4th - $5.50
10 players - 1st - $25 2nd - $12 3rd - $8 4th - $5

$10 games just multiply each on by 2, and $15 games just multiply by 3.

Thanks, and sorry for being difficult. We are trying to get this as nice as we can, because we play twice a week.

Help Me / Is It Possible?
« on: February 14, 2007, 11:07:06 PM »
This is a weird question and I am sorry ahead of time.  We usually play 2 tournaments every Friday night. Usually last 2-2.5 hours each. We recently decided to begin playing Omaha, which some people do not agree with. My question is with my blinds 20 minutes in length, is there anyway to run 2 tourny's at once???? The people that play just Hold em get bored while watching Omaha. So I was wondering if this was possible... 1st 20 min Hold em...switch to different chips and different tourny for 2nd 20 mins. for Omaha.. and back and forth. Have two 1st rounds, two 2nd rounds, and so on. The players that play Hold em and Omaha would play the entire time, while the ones that just play Hold em would play every other round. This would still keep it 2 tourny's, keep everyone happy, and it would be a little change.  Do ya'll understand? Thanks

Suggestions / TD Online Tournaments
« on: January 30, 2007, 02:30:47 PM »
Corey,
I just want to throw this idea out there.  There are as now 962 members. How about holding online tournaments on a certain poker website, such as pokerstars or absolutepoker, just as a cool way for everyone to play together. I have heard in the past of people holding private tourny's. Just wondered if you had enough "pull" to get it accepted.
                                     Thanks

General Discussion / Heads-Up Tournament
« on: January 30, 2007, 01:47:53 PM »
Hey guys,

Can anyone give me ideas on running a heads-up tourny. I know how to work it on the TD. Just wanting some advice.  Another thing is that I dont want my best league players going at each other in the first round.  Any ideas on how to seed players other than drawing out of a hat.

Help Me / Little Help Needed
« on: January 24, 2007, 09:05:13 AM »
Hey guys,
I am having a mock WSOP with 12 events ranging in buy-in from $50-$150.
I want to have player of the year points, but cant figure it out.

In a $50 tournament, I want 5 points from every participant to go into the pool and everyone that cashes receives points based on their finish.
Same with a $100 tournament,  10 points from every player
$150 = 15 points from every player.

Can anyone give me a formula for each.
( I don't know how many players will be playing each event.)

                                 Thanks

Help Me / prizes not configured
« on: May 11, 2006, 11:28:33 AM »
  Any help out there guys?

I run a small home league that runs strictly off of points.  When I start tournys the screen says prizes not configured.  Can i put my point formula in the prize section or how do I get it to stop saying that?
