Bounties / Prizepool
« on: August 20, 2014, 03:34:03 PM »
I run a bounty which has a guaranteed Prizepool although it's stated clearly on our tournament schedule that the value of the bounties is included in the guarantee, a few of my idiot players keep asking why the Prizepool is less than the guarantee.

Is it possible for the bounty value to be added to the Prizepool figure, and the bounty value to removed from the left to play for figure when a bounty is won.

Sorry, I guess I didn't ask the right question.  There are two types of bounties in the TD: a bounty prize and bounty chips.  The bounty chips don't add to the prize pool.  Bounty prizes do, just as all other prizes do.

So ... what type of bounties are you using and how do they figure into the prize pool?

We give each player a bounty chip and tick "Use Player Bounty Chips"

I know it does not add the Bounty Chip money to the prize pool, I was enquiring if there was a way too.

Ahh, now I understand.  And I don't think so.  The bounties are kept completely separate from the pot.  It's too bad the total bounty money isn't available in the formula, because then you could display the pot + the bounty amount using the <expression> layout token.  It shouldn't be that hard to add.  I'll look and see.
