Suggestions / Re: Buy-in Profiles

Corey

Your example would be a fantastic feature, probably better than adding a multiplier field in the profile section.

In a re-buy tournament, we normally print out a "sign in sheet" and record the re-buys on it, entering them into TD every 15 minutes or so. As i mentioned earlier we allow players to take either 1, 2 or 3 re-buys at a time, and on the sign in sheet we record 1, 2 or 3 and enter that into TD using the respective profile for the re-buys.

The example you have shown would only require 1 profile, and it looks like all the re-buys could be entered at once.

When will this be available? I have my Chistmas re-buy tournament coming up on the 14th December and would love to test it out for you then.

Would the same feature also be available for the add-ons?

Cheers

1 Rebuy £5 3000 chips
2 Rebuys £10 6000 chips
3 Rebuys £15 9000 Chips

If a player has either the £2 x or 3x rebuys it shows on the screen as 1 rebuy, It would be great that if in a future release of TD there was an option to display a single profile entry as either 2, 3 or as many rebuys as required.

This is a brilliant addition to TD

In some of our re-buy tournaments we allow players to take either 1, 2 or 3 re-buys at a time, the profile system works great.

The only issue I have is that, when we enter a double or triple re-buy it shows on the Tournament screen as only one re-buy.

It would be great that if in a future release of TD there was an option to display a single profile entry as either 2, 3 or as many rebuys (Add-Ons as well for that matter) as required.

Many Thanks

Help Me / Re: player missing in ranking / database
« on: October 02, 2013, 03:50:10 AM »
Load each tournament
on the "Players" Tab, hit the "Database" button on the left hand side
a dialog box will appear, the first option will be to "Add to the database players in your current tournament"
Select the check boxes then "OK"

Now the players should appear in stats

Why not publish your "To Do List" on the forum, and let the users vote for the items that they want most, this might give you a better idea of which updates to implement first in upcoming releases.

Corey, to avoid confusion why have an option (that's easy to implement) to change the name of the re-buy cell to re- entry!

I have tried Stuart Murrays solution
won't work the way you intend, the best option would be to have the cage running TD also as a seperate concern, then once complete you can export the entries from the cage and import onto the cardroom computer before you do the seating draw.

But can only import the players names, this would be great if it could import the status (Bought In) and the other fields of my choosing, perhaps there's something I've missed

Suggestions / Reset Tournament
« on: August 22, 2013, 10:30:30 AM »
would it be possible to give another option with the tournament reset button which keeps all the re-buys and add-ons?

I often run a tournament with multiple day ones and this feature would help a lot

Cheers

Help Me / Sign in sheet

Is there a way to print out a sheet similar to a Sign-in sheet, but only shows the players that are left in the tournament?

General Discussion / Re: Buy-Back Option
« on: April 09, 2013, 04:46:05 AM »
I have been planning to do a similar tournament at my club, ( giving active players an amount of chips if someone re-enters the tournament) the idea that i came up with to impliment this was similar as Stuarts post above.

I planned to give out the bonus chips as a no cost Add-on at the first break after the Re-buys/ Re-entries have finished.

My solution
un-tick "Allow players still in the tournament to rebuy" ( this will basically not allow the busted out player to get a Add-on )

If that player wants to Re-Buy / Re-Enter, Click the "Add-On" Button on the "Controls" screen and tick the box at the top of the box near "Name" this will give every player still playing an Add-On.

Now you can Re-Buy your player.

You can set the chip value to that of your choosing, I have set mine to zero, and at the break change it to the chip value i require, TD asks me confirm the change, hit "Yes"

On the "Players" screen show the add-on chips column and now you know how many chips each player will receive.

Templates, Layouts and Sounds / invert screen
« on: March 22, 2013, 11:33:03 AM »
Hi Corey

I've been using the Abstract Layout for a few days and have the TD screensaver applied, the look of the inverted screen is really good, and I would like to use the inverted screen for the even rounds. is there an easy way to do this or do I have to manually?

Thanks

Why not use the "Status Update" feature and point those players to the respective web page.
