One More Question
« on: October 18, 2006, 07:37:05 AM »
I like to do a lot of work on some layouts from my friends computers, but sometimes I forget my flash drive and just say forget it.  However, I wised up and emailed it to myself via hotmail.  However, whenever I download the file it automatically opens via Microsoft IE.  It's just a layout template, so can I somehow get that layout to the TD2.2 through a token or something?

Probably a configurastion setting of your Internet Explorer.  When I click on an attachment from Hotmail (I tried sending a TD layout file), it just asks me what I want to do with it - Open it or Save it.

The only issue I have with it is that when I save it, IE assumes it's a text file since it doesn't know what a .tlo file is.  So even though it the save dialog says "myLayout.tlo", it saves it as "myLayout.tlo.txt", and I have to go rename it manually.  That's the one thing I've always hated about IE (and many MS products in general), it always assumes it is smarter than you, and it's almost always wrong.
