Having a Player with a Bounty on his Head
« on: November 08, 2009, 07:49:05 PM »
Hello:

There is a series of games where we want to randomly assign a bounty on a player and have that player's name show on teh main tournament director screen. What is the variable we can use to reference the name seleted on teh prize screen for player bounty?

In this group, the person is so special, their name should be advertised. :)

Thanks in advance.

If you're going to choose the random player before the tournament starts, I would simply use the Random Player feature on the Player tab.  Then, once you know who it is going to be, create the bounty prize on the Prizes tab with the bounty on that player.  Use the <prize> or <prizes> token to display the prize.

We have done that much. We would like the player's name to show up as the bounty on the main screen with the prizes. It would not display the name. ???

When you create a prize that is a bounty on a player, the Name should automatically be set to "Bounty on <player name>".  If not, set it yourself.

The <prizes> token displays the Name of the prize.
