Have just upgraded, but now have accidentally added a few players multiple times, creating duplicates of some players.  The "merge" thing just isn't working for me, so how can I simply delete the duplicate player along with their information, and just forget about merging.

I have not used the upgraded version for a tourney yet, so no critical data will be lost.  But I DO have a tourney this Friday!  Help!

- On the database tab, right-click on a player you want to delete and select 'Delete <player-name>'.  Do this for each duplicate.
- After you've deleted all of your duplicates, load each of your tournaments, one at a time.
- For each one, go to the Players tab, and look for players that aren't in your database.  They will be a lighter color, in italics.
- If the player should be in your database, but isn't, then I'll assume it's because that player was one of the "duplicates" you deleted in your database.  Double-click the player, then on the Edit Player dialog press the Merge button.  Then select the correct player in the database.  When you're done with all of the players, save the tournament.

Now you've deleted all of your duplicate database players.  And you've reestablished the correct relationship between each player in your tournaments with the proper player in your database.
