Help Me / Re: TD3 freezing and giving random errors

As Corey has said, the issue is very difficult to pin down.. but from what has been discovered so far, it seems to be most prevalent on Windows 10.

Personally I run TD on a Windows 7 virtual machine, I've not had a lockup/freeze with the current version - that might be an option for you if you can get hold of suitable vitualisation software (I use VM Workstation) and a copy of Windows 7.

Just a quick update:
We held our annual charity event and the final table system was a hit.
Check out http://www.joshfarler.org/2018holecams.html to see the system outputs.

Cheers all.

>> So am i understanding it right, that with that combination, there is no chance for TD to run with out breakdowns all the time (every turnament) or ?

No, that is not correct.  As I said, the vast majority of users are not having this issue.  So there is every chance that running a tournament will not result in a breakdown.  Some are having this issue, and I wish that were not the case, and I will do everything I am able to do to prevent it.  As I said, right now I think the best course is to continue to port the software to a new framework.  And that is where I am focusing my efforts.

So what can i do ?  we opened the club 2 months ago, and we have tournaments everday, and constant breakdowns 10-30 times everyday - players are getting irritated.....

Can i downgrade to another older version ?  or what can i do ? do not have breakdowns ?

I'm now in that group of TD3 freezing.

Last 3 tournaments over the last 3 months and the program is freezing constantly and requiring me to shut it down and restart. This has to happen at least 6 times in a 5 hour tournament :(

No, I have not looked through it. While there are many who are having issues with memory, the vast majority are not.   I am currently focused on moving the application to a new framework.  I feel this is the best way forward for everyone.  If, in the meantime, I am able to find places in the current version that I can change that will have a positive effect on memory issues, I will absolutely follow through with that and release a fix.  But as of now, I have not been able to find any.

I send you the files 3-4 weeks ago, did you look it through ?

"i have made a back up like you askede the other guy - its 635 mb big"

We are running windows 10 and newest version of TD.

So am i understanding it right, that with that combination, there is no chance for TD to run with out breakdowns all the time (every turnament) or ?

Oh, I was looking for the User Manual online too. Cheers, Corey. Might be a good idea to post it somewhere though, unless there's a good reason not to.
