Suggestions / Re: Export Layout - included images files

Hmmm, ok.  Well i used the insert image button and it does show a relative path but just a box appears.  odd.

Here is the layout.  Check out the Logo2 cell.  It has a full path to the image once, then a relative path to it again.
Only one Logo appears.

Hi Corey.

The export feature seams to work fine now.

However, when i insert an image into a cell it makes the path relative but the image does not show.  Just the box.
I tried using a different folder than the images folder as another message suggests, but still, i only get a box.

<img src="graphics\crabby.bmp" border="0">

Also, i can't seam to get relative paths to work for chips, sounds or even the ConfigFile path names.

should <tdfolder> work?  or %tdfolder%
whats the proper syntax for using relative paths with these files?

I am tring to send a layout to the head of the Pirana Poker Tour.
I am sure his path and most of the Tournament Directors paths are going to be different from mine.
I need a easy way to send this around to all the different Directors and have it easy for them to install it
without having to teach them all how to change the path names to all the images, sounds etc.

I was supposed to send this to him already but was hoping to hold out till this feature was working.
Is this any other way to make this easy for them to install without getting them all to reinstall TD to the
same folder?

same problem here too corey.
the files it lists as having a invalid path are all in the same path as the system dumps shows as TD's home.
also, when i try to use <TDFolder> as the path to the images in the cell i lose the picture and get a box instead.
when i try to use <tdfolder> in a CONFIG FILES path, i get invalid path error.

If its mainly the prizes that you find yourself editing then just make your own autoprize file with all the diff prize setups you like to use and define when to use each one.  then as you buy in players it will automatically update your prizes with the diff amounts based on how many join the game.

no problem, glad to help.

Templates, Layouts and Sounds / Re: Return to mainpage when new blind

I have often wondered about adding this feature too.

I wonder if you just add this to the conditions area, where you define when screens should show.

Then we could set which screens not to show during the last and first 30 secs of a round.

This is the code i use.  But you need the newest version of TD for it to work 100%

<span style="height: 150px; width: 100%; overflow: false"><rankings showTimeOut="true" showRoundOut="true" showStillIn="False" showHitman="Ture" showHits="True" showwinnings="True" showPoints="True" showColumnTitles="True" max="4"></span>

This is the part the shows the hitman.

I think it is case sensitive so make sure to use capitals where they are used in this example.

Just a tip, you don't have to save each change as a template for Rounds, Prizes, Tables, Layout, Sounds, Chips etc.
when you save a tourny it saves all the Rounds, Prizes, Tables, Layout, Sounds, and Chips info right in the tourny file.
templates are only needed if you intend to create a whole new tourny setup from scrach and want to load just the sounds
setup from an older tourny or just the layout of another.  I run diff tourny setups at each place i host tourny's but no longer
worry about templates.  I just load the last tourny i used at a certain place, make changes or updates and resave it as the date
of the next tourny.

Ok, the points for playing is working better now.  However, if you use it more than one time in a cell it will not work.
It seams to remember the settings in the first entry and ignore the new settings in each additional use.

This is the code i used.

<pointsforplaying ranks="1-8">

<pointsforplaying ranks="9-9" displayRank="false">

<pointsforplaying ranks="13-13" displayRank="false">

Souls = 10 Points<br>Bounty = 25

and i get 3 lists of points for ranks 1-8
can this be fixed or do i need to make 3 diff cells to contain each different part of the list i am trying to make?

Hi Corey.  Thanks for the update.  Just a question regarding pointsforplaying

I am trying to setup a screen as follows

1st = 825
2nd = 710
3rd = 650
4th = 500
etc, etc...  till i reach 9th.  Then i want to combine the data since the scores are all the same.  Like this.

9th-12th = 100
13th-16th = 50

i have tried playing with the ranks setting but find it defaults to showing all scores from 1 through whatever you set as the max.
Is thier a way around this to just show one score?  i.e. 12th = 100
Then i could just add (9th-) to the beginning of that line to make it read 9th-12th = 100

Help Me / Re: Cannot export to XML
« on: June 10, 2007, 06:25:19 PM »
You don't want to export from the stats page.  Thats just if you want to make a web page or print out of the stats.

If you want to export a tourny to StatsGenie go to the GAME tab and click the export button.  Then a list of possible export types are listed, one of which is STATSGENIE.

NOTE:  You can only export the tourny after it is completed.

Ok ya, i am using 2.3 beta 1.  When are you planning a fix?

Is there any other way to access the pointsforfirst or pointsforsecond info without using the pointsforplaying token?
