Help Me / Token for number of buyins and paid in full?
« on: July 26, 2015, 06:36:58 AM »
Not sure if there is a function to show the number of "buyins" and the number of "paid in full"

Would be great if i could do something like this, a formula that adds together:

<buyins profileName="profile_1" paidInFull="true">+<buyins profileName="profile_2" paidInFull="true">+<buyins profileName="profile_3" paidInFull="true">
<buyins profileName="profile_1">+<buyins profileName="profile_2">+<buyins profileName="profile_3">

I really would like to be able to present both the total number of "buyins" and the number of "paidInFull"

I have lists of players on my pre tournament screen like <playerNames paidInFull="true" max="26">
But i can only show max 26 names (i don't want to use marquee to scroll the names) but i would like to show the total number in the topic above the name list.

Is something wrong with <chips size="60" columns="1" values="left" counts="right" abbreviateChips="false"> ?
Isn't the count suppose to be on the right side of the chip image?

And would it be possible to exclude a chip value, or to show a singel value with the <chips> token, if so you would not need to do like this if you only want to show specific chips (you may have lower dominations in the starting chipstack, and then you introduce higher dominations later in tournament)

Code: [Select]
<table border="0" style="width: 1000px;">
<td align="center"><img src="file:///<datastore>\images\monte-carlo-195_25.png" style="margin-right: 30px;" border="0"></td>
<td align="center"><img src="file:///<datastore>\images\monte-carlo-195_100.png" style="margin-right: 30px;" border="0"></td>
<td align="center"><img src="file:///<datastore>\images\monte-carlo-195_500.png" style="margin-right: 30px;" border="0"> </td>
<td align="center"><img src="file:///<datastore>\images\monte-carlo-195_1000.png" style="margin-right: 30px;" border="0"></td>
<td align="center"><img src="file:///<datastore>\images\monte-carlo-195_5000.png" style="margin-right: 30px;" border="0"></td>

The token <buyin> won't work correct when you use the <buyin profileName="1_profile">, <buyin profileName="2_profile"> and so on.. it only give you the buyin from the 1st profile.
I have 6 profiles (only 2 diffrent amount, but 3 different startingchips on each)

It's not a really big problem for me, i only use 4k displays at home when testing and trying new setups for our tournaments, but more and more places get 4k displays now days so there might become a problem real soon.
There are a lot of programs that is not suitable for 4k displays, the setting in windows  to make text and icons bigger don't work in all programs. (sorry ui in Swedish)
I found a webpage with some checkboxes and here is some screenshots from:

IE (ver 11.0.9600.17842)

Chrome (ver 43.0.2357.130 my default browser)

As you can see in the IE screenshot, the program "irFanView" i use to crop my screenshots have really small icons and text, so they do not scale from windows settings.
Webbrowsers do handle scaling much better as you can see here:

Not sure if this is a big problem for everyone, but on a 4k monitor the checkboxes get rather small.

This is something we run very often in our club too.
Have not found any way to display current standing in TD for it, but i do have a separate buy in profile for the persons that want to join the side action.
I do have to keep track manually, and it can get really hard if the top payouts contain both sideaction players and those that don't play the sideaction.
One way for the players to know, is to give the sideaction players a bountychip or something like that so the others can see this physical chip and thereby see who's still in.
But it would be great to have this in TD so there was 2 price pools and a way to show a list of names of the sideaction players, and a token for number of sideaction players to.

Often there could be change in buyins minutes before tournament starts.
(Local club, if few players, they get to decide the buyin)
And for us we have 6 diffrent buyin profiles every time.

member + bonuschips (more chips then startingstack)
member (startingstack)
member latereg (less chips then startingstack)

not member + bonuschips (double rake and more chips then startingstack)
not member (double rake and startingstack)
not member latereg (double rake and less chips then startingstack)

I could have a template for each buyin saved, but there would be a lot of templates to update if any adjustments where made to one of them.

It would be great if you could save/load a set (or single) buyin profiles.

Help Me / Re: Script Error with iFRAME

There are no plans because it depends entirely on whether or not Microsoft will update support for HTML applications.

Corey, have you looked at the possibility to use Chromium as a platform instead of IE?
I'm not a huge developer my self so I'm not sure if even possible, but from my understanding the Chromium might be more "open" platform and a bit more "modern".

I'm a Google user my self, but maybe you could try Microsoft's Excel, they are online now days to i think in their, i made a quick look and their spreadsheets seems to have a function for embedding the excel file.
Do not know if its a working solution for you, but maybe worth looking at.

This is really good news.

Suggestions / Exporting to Statsgenie v3
« on: November 26, 2014, 06:19:56 AM »
Been exporting to import stats to "StatsGenie v3"
Everything works great except when importing an tournament with rebuy, then i have to fill in the rebuy cost manually after importing it to statsgenie.
(not a big problem, but maybe there is a way to adjust your export, or maybe he can adjust his import, to get the rebuy cost automatically?

Suggestions / Default filename at export

Any possibility to have the TD to suggests the default filename at export?
Now when exporting (to statsgenie for example) the filename field is empty for manual input.
Why not have the allready made "filename.tdt" in the filename field as filename.xml?

This would save some time at export.
(I'm doing multiple years and league and seasons export and its a time consuming task)

A batch export would be the most preferred solution but anything that helps would be great.

Suggestions / Re: Bonus chips during buy-in

Why not offer the dealerbouns at initial buy in, and not at the table, then you could have 2 buy in profile like:

Name: Regular Buy In
Buy in: $60
Chips: 13000
Rake: "your normal rake"

Name: Buy In with Dealerbonus
Buy in: $65
Chips: 16000
Rake: "your normal rake"
DealerRake: $5
