what token are you using, I use the <announcements3> for mine.  with ( tdbuttons ) And by the thread up top, I dont think random is possible.
well I'm not usaing any tokens.
What I'm doing here is creating a new cell, and modifying the html adding these codes...
it's very strange that we can't use Javascript within HTML

ok, problem solved: now what i want to do is to randomly play 5 videos.
Is it possible?
I've made a Javascript that looks like this:

Code: [Select]
// ************ Start of randomMovie.js *************

// Our playlist array
var playlist =new Array();
playlist[0] = 'file:///<home>\VIDEOS\1.wmv'
playlist[1] = 'file:///<home>\VIDEOS\0.wmv'
playlist[2] = 'file:///<home>\VIDEOS\4.wmv'
playlist[3] = 'file:///<home>\VIDEOS\3.wmv'
playlist[4] = 'file:///<home>\VIDEOS\2.wmv'

// Find the length of thr array
var arrayLen = playlist.length;

// Get a random number
var randomMovie = Math.round(Math.random()*(arrayLen-1));

function renderMovie(){

document.write('<OBJECT id="VIDEO" width="854" height="430"');
document.write('<PARAM NAME="url" VALUE="'+ playlist[randomMovie] +'">');
document.write('<PARAM NAME="SendPlayStateChangeEvents" VALUE="True">');
document.write('<PARAM NAME="AutoStart" VALUE="true">');
document.write('<PARAM name="PlayCount" value="1">');
document.write('<EMBED TYPE="application/x-mplayer2" SRC="' + playlist[randomMovie] + '" NAME="MediaPlayer" WIDTH="192" HEIGHT="190" ShowControls="1" ShowStatusBar="0" ShowDisplay="0" autostart="0"> </EMBED>');

// ************ End of randomMovie.js *************

and the HTML code written in the tournament director layout is:

Code: [Select]
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1" />
<script type="text/javascript src="file:///<home>\JAVASCRIPTS\video_random.js"></script>

<script type="text/javascript">renderMovie();</script>

It doesn't work... :(

Hello guys,
sorry for popping up with this old thread, but I'm having a problem with embedding videos in my screen:
I've added the code Corey posted, and the path to the file: even if I select an url such as youtube URL, video doesn't show.
can somebody help me?

code is:
Code: [Select]
<OBJECT id="VIDEO" width="320" height="240"
style="position:absolute; left:0;top:0;"

<PARAM NAME="file:///<home>\VIDEOS\VIDEO1.flv" VALUE="your file or url">
<PARAM NAME="SendPlayStateChangeEvents" VALUE="True">
<PARAM NAME="AutoStart" VALUE="True">
<PARAM name="PlayCount" value="9999">

I've also tried with the mp4 format, but nothing...

Try this: is for a 80mm

Code: [Select]
    <meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=<charset>" />

  <style type="text/css">

    BODY, TD
      background-color: #ffffff;
      color: #000000;
      font-family: Arial;
      font-size: 8pt;

    <table border="0">

          <table border="0" width="100%">
               <td align="center" style="font-size: 17pt"><nobr><IMG SRC="insert link to the image" width="200" height="200"></nobr></td>
              <td align="center"><nobr><date> <time></nobr></td>
              <td align="center"><nobr>Tournament Director: <salesperson></nobr></td>
              <td align="center"><nobr>ticket n. <receiptnumber></nobr></td>
              <td align="center"><nobr><eventname></nobr></td>

          <table border="2" width="100%">
 <td align="left"><nobr>NAME:</nobr></td>
              <td align="right"><nobr><nickname><nobr></td>
              <td align="left"><nobr>TABLE:</nobr></td>
              <td align="right"><nobr><tablename><nobr></td>
              <td align="left"><nobr>SEAT:</nobr></td>
              <td align="right"><nobr><seatnumber><nobr></td>
              <td align="left"><nobr>ID PLAYER:</nobr></td>
              <td align="right"><nobr><id><nobr></td>
              <td align="left"><nobr>Total</nobr></td>
              <td align="right"><nobr><total><nobr></td>

I also had problems with this format, but it was related to the Printer settings (paper choosen was not the correct one)

Help Me / Re: problem with size of Layout on second monitor
« on: September 24, 2011, 07:02:18 AM »
oh right, load your layout onto your extended display, close your settings menu and now right click on your layout, followed by Auto-Size........  this will kinda work, so try it out and see if it works for you.  It will not auto size graphics which are overlayed onto your layout however.

Wow ty again Stu.
Didn't know there was that option!
TY again :)

Help Me / Re: problem with size of Layout on second monitor
« on: September 24, 2011, 06:28:12 AM »
thank you Stuart.
You know what seems to me?
it seems that If I created the layout using a 1920x1080 resolution, then I can't use that layout anymore for other PC that doesn't support that resolution!
Indeed the laptop can only use 1600x1200 as max res for a second monitor, and so even if I change the res on main windows setting, this doesn't change anything, layout just get bigger and still doesn't fit the screen.
it could be cool if TD could handle this problem automatically

Help Me / problem with size of Layout on second monitor
« on: September 24, 2011, 06:08:09 AM »
Hello folks.
I'm having a serious problem here.
I have a home PC and a laptop.
When I'm at home, I've created a layout for my poker room with my laptop connected with the  23" monitor which has a 1920x1080 resolution.
But my Laptop can only set the secondo monitor's resolution to 1600x1200 max.
So what happen: when I go to my card room and connect my laptop with the 42" monitor, layout appears waaaaay big and doesn't fit the screen!
That's a real painful problem because I tried everything but nothing happened, and I'm forced to set another layout up (the default one for example fits perfectly whatever monitor I use!)

Can you guys help me fixing this?

At the contrary, if i set secondsleft to 5, it works

Also, where to find those conditions: isRound,SecondsLeft, roundNum etc etc? there are others, aren't they?

Hello guys,
I'm trying to find a way to modify entirely the seating chart layout, but it seems to me it's not possible...
What for example I would like to do is to move the table's diagram:

Is that possible?

For example I've my live tables configured as following:

<TABLE1>-------------<TABLE 2>
--------------<TABLE 3>--------------

Help Me / Re: connecting the TD to a mobile phone
« on: July 17, 2011, 07:45:06 AM »
jodybingo thanks for the reply.
I believe the problem is the creation of an ad hoc connection.
When I create it, my phone (nokia 5800XM with Symbian OS) finds it but when connecting, a appears on the bottom of my PC
So I think problem is on connection creation.
I've disabled firewall but nothing happens

Ok guys, problem is still here.
Well, not the same problem of the starting thread:
I can't connect my Nokia 5800 XM to my Windows7 Toshiba Satellite pro.
I've created an ad/hoc connection but when trying to connect from my phone it says that login is failed and a ! appears on the PC.

Really really dunno what to do.
I'm using the internal PC wireless, no third party addons.
