Grab the process explorer, in that (a bit complicated) tool you can check the I/O of various tasks and see what is accessing the harddrive. There will be a lot going on and filtering necessary until the usual noise is gone.

Mind also that windows does some indexing work from time to time.

General Discussion / Re: Tournament Director for Cashgames :)

Figured out how to override prizes. One issue though: override amount 0 does not work. Field can be entered but the tournament director does not calculate with it.

General Discussion / Tournament Director for Cashgames :)
« on: June 22, 2017, 09:12:47 AM »
Hi there!

I was looking for a spreadsheet to use for our friendly cashgame we sometimes play.
So far I havn't come up with something. And I thought, why not track it with the Tournament Director :)
As workaround I just setup a single round and track "rebuys" from players and bust outs.
At the end I would have a nice set of calculated statistics and can build a nice formula around it.

I noticed some issues during the setup:
- since the Chip values are <1 I cannot enter them in the Chipset/Chip configuration. I just see value 0$ on the screen.
- It seems that the preferences mixed up the fields "decimal comma" and "decimal point".

Suggestion: Maybe add a cashgame director mode for people that want to track their stats more easily there.

And I just noticed a small problem with my whole idea: Entering the winnings each player had seems not doable in the prize tab. I thought with manual entry I could assign a prize to a player, but I could not figure out how to do that :)

Suggestions / Re: More "visible" Statistics

Hi again!

Thanks for the reply. I think this will help me to create a chart of some sorts ;)
I think (unless you have hundreds of players) some single stat views will be pretty informative...

I could not find a way to see the results per player over time (with all available variables availabe). - Well you can see them in the deatabase but its hard to handle.

That way I could create some charts & stuff

Hi there!

I wondered - do more visual attractive stats per player / tournament league exist?
I am talking about charts, that show player profit curves, league standings etc.

Of course I can do everything in excel I guess, but then it would be great if there would be like an "export all" function that provides data e.g. in excel that I could work with then...

Hi there!

I have not "installed TD3 yet" and wanted to start TD2.5 yesterday (after a hiatus of almost 1 year) :) Now two things have happened:

- Registry information disappeared (it said beta expired) - beta 5 was installed
- and the same MFDB error as above, after that follow up errors show up "problem to load preferences" and "cannot initialize database"
- Then TD quits.

I have updated first to latest 2.5 version to make a new backup but iam unable to do so because i still get the MFDB error and cannot load any DB.

Any idea where these MFDB errors come from?

Help Me / Ideas for templates need some info first
« on: August 08, 2011, 09:46:27 AM »
Hello !

I want to customize my template  alittle more with some variable information on the main screen that rotates through, i know already you can simplete create multiple screens and show them in order.

As variable information i want to keep the "static" part with ante blinds etc. as usual. At the bottom I wanted to reserve 1/3 of the area for various information. I would like to show "history" like an event log e.g. (but not oall events just the "important ones". Once a few rows are shown the bottom ones are no longer visible on screen.

20:32 Jeff busted out
20:31 Jeff rebought into the tournament
20:20 Blind level 2 started
20:00 Blind level 1 started

I added already customized tables, via the xml file option. Is it also possible to have font X for the "seat number" and font Y for the name? I think of something like this (this should be seat number 7:

__
  /  First Name,
 /   Lastname

An alternative to photoshop is "paint.net" it's freeware and has a lot of features like stamp, clones etc.

not fixed but I have an idea.... how can i check if the ms-its handler is working? should there be a registry entry in "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\PROTOCOLS\Handler\ms-its", If yes what should be inside? I only have "ms-itss" in there?

I thought that this might be related to load these CHM and HTA files and there was quite some time ago a CHM exploit which only recommandation at the time was to disable the CHM files at all.

Though i checked - the CHM help files open fine :/

Iam puzzled but I keep trying.

BTW: Active X works fine for other stuff and I re-installed windowsScripting host.

Maybe I'll get a discount If I pull this off  :)

I dont know the names in english must be similar to :
internet explorer -> Extras -> InternetOptions -> Security-> in the window you see Internet, iNtranet, trusted sites, blocked sites and MY COMPUTER

That's where i checked. Other fixes i did was unregistering the dll responsible for th ewmf exploit that was spreading lately.

hmmmm.... not sure what else is related to that.

let me know if you need more information.
