presumably you have the td set to pause the clock when busting players out in the preferences tab.  The simplest answer is to uncheck this option and allow the clock to keep running when busting players out - Q. Do you really need the clock paused when busting players out anyway as this is simply slowing down the blinds and adding more time to levels.  I used to use murray walker famous and it's go go go! when the clock was unpaused but it did cause problems with overlapping sounds so for bigger games where I am non-playing TD  I use no sound and for smaller games where I am playing and TD I use the warning sound which is a single beep, this avoids multiple sounds being played at once.

Help Me / Re: Event Conflict
« on: December 17, 2009, 07:00:58 AM »
Beaker, whilst multiple events can run simultaneously, you will have to specify on the Action Settings screen what you want the events to do when another event is already occuring.  It may be a good idea to put the bust out below the movement, and have a short sound such as a chime etc for your balance suggestion and then this will not interfere too much with your bust out soundclip.

On another point I as a TD prefer to be in command of table balances and carry them out when i see fit, not when the application requires me to do so. If you are running your events 100% by td I found it best to increase the player disparity on tables to at least 2 to avoid multiple movements.

Help Me / Seating Chart
« on: December 10, 2009, 12:52:10 PM »
Hi there Corey,

Any chance you can redesign the list format of the seating chart to include columbs, as I could easily get 3 columbs of players listed alphabetically, as for larger tourneys (10+ tables) I find this is a better solution for players to pick up their seat number faster!  This would be something similar to the Cardroom MAGIC software I have been discussing, which allows about 90 names to be listed on one page.

Thanks for your help
Stuart

Okay so I contacted Stanley Group and London Clubs and both were quite happy to inform me that the software used is CardRoom MAGIC, by a company in England.  Can anyone get a hold of the sound files from this software? Mabey someone knows someone who works in a cardroom that works for any of the UK Casinos (Grosvenor, Gala, LCI, Genting etc) that could copy the sound files of the cardroom computer?

Templates, Layouts and Sounds / End of Tourney Display
« on: September 17, 2009, 08:48:43 AM »
Hi Corey, I am working on an end of tournament screen and was wandering how I could add a token on to display the final 10 placed winners and also their prize winnings I don't know if a token exists for displaying each position individually/prize winnings individually but this is the kind of idea I was thinking of:
Tournament Over! Congratulations to the winners! <br> <br> Winner : <1stname> <1stprize> <br> Second : <2nd> <2ndprize> and so on! thanks for your help again! Regards Stuart

Help Me / Re: Break announcement

great stuff i was thinking along those lines already that i would have to add them independantly below the 60 secs to next level in the events schedule and then specify that it cancels existing sounds before playing.  Thanks very much for your help once again

Sorry to be a pest! I currently have an announcement for 60 seconds until next level, which plays at the end of each level Is there any way of this only playing when there is a level up in 60s ie so I could play 60 seconds until break when a break is occurring next instead of a level change? - Thank you in advance for your assistance!

thanks corey that helps me understand things a lot! I found another thread similar to mine and used the following string (!isRound) && (state = 2) && (secondsLeft =71) for the 60 second left break announcement which works fine too but I will keep the notRound string for future use - love the program by the way I can sit for hours sometimes finding new ways of improving the way my tourneys are run!

I now have a large collection of sounds files, my tourneys start with the wsop theme then "one minute to next level" then a spoken version of the new blind level, along wihth break announcement and tournament resuming - please return to seats, I also have clipits for bust outs such as eminem, the sound of music (so long, farewell), time to say goodbye (Andrea Boceleli) Another One Bites the dust (queen), simpsons clips and other bust out tunes.  If you would like anything from me let me know by e-mail and I can provide you with them.  I have also replaced the three audible beeps with the WSOP bango at t-5s, it all sounds pretty cool and adds quite a professional feel too my tournaments.  i currently have the following blinds (small) 25, 50, 75, 100, 150, 200, 300, 400, 500, 600, 800, 1000, 1500, 2000, 3000, 4000, 5000, 10,000, 15,000, 25,000, 50,000, 75,000, 100k, 150k, 200k, 300k, and upto 10million I can also provide the template for the events.
