Help Me / Rotate Player Image
« on: June 15, 2018, 10:24:04 AM »
Is there a way to rotate the player images?  TD is rotating EVERY player image that I upload 90 degrees counter-clockwise.  How can I fix this?

Basically, here's what I'm asking for...

I need a screen that would show the following list during the first round of the "blinds"...
1 - 5
2 - 10
3 - 15
4 - 20
19 - 95
20 - 100

This list would then change every time the "blinds" go up.

G'day, Corey - me again!!

I have a very simple template for my layout - nothing fancy, just a plain white screen that shows only the basics.  Our group plays a lot of Open Face Chinese Poker, and I would like to show the "points' or "chips won" on the screen.  Basically, I would need a layout that stays exactly the same, with the exception of a screen in the bottom right corner that would "change" as the blinds increase.

For example, for Round 1 of the blinds, the screen would read...
1 - 5
2 - 10
3 - 15
4 - 20
19 - 95
20 - 100

Round 2 of the blinds would show
1 - 10
2 - 20
3 - 30
4 - 40
19 - 190
20 - 200

The numbers look simple in the early blinds, and could easily be done without this screen.  But, in the later blinds, players have difficulty figuring out 18 points at 125 chips per point, and this screen would save a lot of headaches.

Currently, I use the "Payouts", and after each blind, I manually change the payout to the correct one (I have each "Payout Template" saved).

I hope this makes some kind of sense to you!?!  And I hope there is a method in this wonderful program somewhere that could help me out.  Once again, I thank you in advance.

Help Me / Re: Each Players Starting Table

The problem with the "human readable log" is that, even after the data is exported, I will still have to manually enter each players table to determine which game they are playing.

While adding this would certainly benefit myself and a few others, I have seen numerous posts asking about Shootout tournaments (which I also run), and this would be a definite plus to run and track those type of events.

I hope to this this in a future TD going forward.  I thank you again for the quick response!!

I've seen a couple of other posts asking similar questions.  If the data is there, why not include this into the program?

Help Me / Each Players Starting Table
« on: April 17, 2018, 03:17:32 PM »
Is there any way the program can export, at the tournament's end, each players final position along with the table they began the game with?  I don't care about player movement, final tables, etc. - I simply need to know the table they started at.

(The reason being that our league has grown to be too large, and thus we split the games in two.  Thus, Tables 1-5 play one game, and Tables 6-10 play a separate game.  If I could export the players with simply their name, finish, and starting table, I could then sort based on the table and determine "final rankings" for each game using simple Excel formulas.)

Your help is, as always, appreciated.

Help Me / Re: adding players window runs slow (over a minute)

A few more updates for you Corey...

I have ~1800 players in my database.  My "Add Player" windows takes about 8-10 seconds to search for a player, which I can certainly live with.

I did have KB3038314 installed, and uninstalled it along with all my others updates as I said above to get the program to work.  So I agree with you that this update could very well be the issue.  I am running Windows 8.1

Sorry about all the "updates" I'm posting here - I'm just trying to give you as much info as I can to help resolve the issue.

The application doesn't "cease responding", it just runs VERY slow.  Mine was "Working..." almost 9 minutes before it finally came in.  And it would do that each time I clicked the button.

Mine as well - cannot "Add Player" without a 3-5 minute delay.  This happens every time the "Add Player" box is opened, from any method.

My laptop has just informed me of "21 Optional Updates", which I will install to see if the issue is resolved...

And the answer was no - the issue was not resolved.  I have uninstalled the updates back one month, and the program is working much "better", but still slow.

The database does load - it just takes 6-8 minutes per player!!

I am having the exact same problem...

OK - new issue has arose...

Everything else is working perfect, but the moment I click "Add Players", the program freezes.  The clock works, I can add "New Players", I can change the blinds, load saved tournaments - everything else works fine.  I've tried "New Player", and then using the name of a player already in the database, and it comes up telling me that this player is already in the database.  I've tried putting players already in the database in as "New Players", then merging them, and the program freezes.  I've tried to hit "New Player", then the "Add Player" button, and the program freezes.

Basically, any time the program has to show me the database, the program freezes.  But the program does know the database is there, as it tells me so when I'm adding a "New Player" that is already in the database.

At my end, my computer is running Windows 8.1, and it did do a couple of updates earlier this week.  I used the program on Tuesday without any problems, but had my issues on Saturday.

Well then, please allow me to completely change the subject, then...

Is there a way to keep track of the position a player was eliminated at their table?

For example, we have 32 players, 4 tables of 8.  Each player will get points based on what position they bust out at their own table only, no merging of tables.  Kind of like a shoot-out format, only the winners never play each other.

Help Me / Sort Players By Current Chip Count
« on: March 25, 2015, 04:34:47 PM »

We are having a 2-day event, and Day 1 is over.  I would like to sort the players on the "Players" tab to show all the players remaining, in descending order by their current chip counts.  I would then like the remaining players to be sorted in the ascending order they busted out.

Basicially, I want the current players ranked by chip counts (20 players remaining), then to list player 21, 22, 23, etc.

This works on the "Player Rankings" screen, and can be shown on my projector, but not using the "Players" tab, and thus I cannot export a proper file to upload online.

Help Me / Re: Percentage of Total Points

I understand what you are saying.  So you are telling me that I will have to change my formula to incorporate the "sum of the total points" after every weekly game?
