Title: Entries field not excludes new players
Post by: pmcotter on June 25, 2008, 09:57:03 AM
I have included the "Entries" field in the tournament layout.  I noticed the count does not include new players.  That is a problem for us because it gives the establishment the illusion of fewer players.  It's a pride thing too because we are in heated competition with other poker leagues.

Am I doing something wrong?  I removed it for the time being but everyone liked it.

The Entries cell of the default layout (or more specifically, the <entries> token) displays the number of entries or buy-ins to the tournament.  It absolutely does include every player who has bought-in.  If you "Add" a player to the tournament but do not buy them in, they will not be counted.

Thanks, Corey.  Of course, I was doing something wrong!  Now I know why some of players are highlighted in red on the table screen.  I was going to look into that.

BTW, kudos again for such a comprehensive program!
