"All chip counts"???

That token takes the chip count from your buyin info NOT the players info. In other words, it multiply the number of buyin by the amount of chips each player gets when they buy into your tournament (Plus Addons, rebuys etc.)

Right, Lafrog.  The <chipcount> token adds up all chips from buy-ins, rebuys, and add-ons.  Since chips are variable in any transaction, the TD can't actually just multiply the number of players by the number of chips received at buy-in, instead it has to sum them all up (except in simple mode, when it is simple multiplication).  <chipcount> it represents the total number of chips in play, not the amounts set on each player.  Since player chip counts change constantly, the current chip count field on each player is really just a convenience field for those who want to use it.  Believe it or not some people like to display each player's chip count on the Player Rankings screen and keep it updated in real time.
