This guy was moaning about stars being fixed, he got bad beat after bad beat, stayed away for a while
and when he went back won 2 tournys running.
He then sent poker stars an email asking what is going on. This is the reply that he got.



"Hi Kevin,

Thank you for your email. As you were regularly donking off large amounts of dough on our site we kept your "luck factor" at 10 (the range is 1:100), however when a good customer leaves we raise their luck factor so that when they come back they're more likely to stay with us. Since you were away for so long your luck factor had risen to 100 (hence your win in July). Usually after a big win, our Senior Luck Factor Co-ordinator will reduce a players luck factor down to around 5, however as he was on long term sick this wasn't done and you inadvertantly fluked another big win in November. Unfortunately (for you) your luck factor has now been downgraded to 5 until you donate enough cash for it to go up. If you wish your luck factor to be raised again, you will need to send an email to our Luck Factor Designation Team, who will assess it on it's individual merits (it may help your case if you specify at least 10 bad beats, and also threaten to tell all your mates that pokerstars is rigged).

It is probably something that I am doing, it usualy is.

I only run small home games, I had my seating page to order by name, some players wanted it by table/seat.
I tried to set that up this morning on a 10 seater, but it shows

Table 1 seat 1
Table 1 seat 10
Table 1 seat 2
Table 1 seat 3
Table 1 seat 4
Table 1 seat 5
Table 1 seat 6
Table 1 seat 7
Table 1 seat 8
Table 1 seat 9

How can I get the 10 to be after 9 ?.

A re-entry is entering the tourney as a new player, new seat, PAY ENTRY + RAKE.

It's a casino thing, make more money.

Was getting ready for the game last night.

Set all the game up and saved.

When I was at location, open the saved game ready for starting and got some faults coming up, emailed to support, the game did run OK with no noticeable problems.

I got a problem, well I think it was a problem.

I have been using the beta for a while now, I have been reading all the posts.
I thought OK I have a few weeks brake shortly so this is when I planned to down load 3.

I opened TD last night and it would let me in till I upgraded to 3, I wanted to do a back up before I moved to 3, anyway I updated to 3.
I only realised today that I could have opened TD while offline and then done the back up.

OK now I have 3 I need to purchase a new licence, how do I find out if I eligable for a discount ?.

Just set it to max 1 add on, max 1 re buy per player.

Then if try to re buy for a player thats already had a re buy it will stop and warn you, you can then cancel or over ride it.

Think you can have add ons, then select cost of add on, some you put what the cost is, the other is 0 then no money will be added to the prize fund.

Not sure about this.

My tourney is set up to do the following.

Start tourney with countdown, show seating.
When countdown reaches zero, change to show main screen.
When final table, pause clock and show seating.
I then have to set clock going and change screen to main screen.

All this I am happy with.

If I set up a tourney, save away, re load and set the count down, all works fine.
If I re load the tourney make changes then set the count down.
I have to reset my screen to the seating then at the start set the screen to main screen
then at final table set it to show seating then back to main screen.

Just wandering if this is normal.
I thought once you set the countdown or are ready to run then the set screens would work as set.

I am on 2.6 B5

Not a big prob, I just make sure that if I change anything I save then re load.

Got it near enough.

I have set the clock to pause for any reseating of players.

I will just have to remember to unpause the clock for table balancing.

So each time players move the clock pauses, so when the final table is reached TD wants to move players to the last table
the clock pauses.

mmmmmm, just realised that I have events for player busts out, I play a sound for each player out.
This is probabley over riding my pause the clock when rank 9 is busted out.

Is there any way of having them both ?

Just noticed it is only the time of the round that does not update.

The blinds update if you change them but the time does not.
