Count down

I have tried and tried but can not get this to work,

I have set up my tourney, then I set the count down to start at a set time.
This works but not how I thought it would.

I am looking for it to work like this:

Set up tourney, set the count down to start at a set time,

Show the seating chart with count down showing,

this is OK up to now.

But when the time is reached I want it to change to the main screen automatically,
I just can not get it to do this.

Any idea's, I have not got a good understanding of screen sets.

have you check your Screen Set,    conditions set to Any Stage for Main screen,  seems to work for are's

It's the default, so should kick in.

I have found on occasion when the game state changes i.e from countdown/pretourney to round or break to round sometimes (rarely) the screen gets stuck on for example a break.  I find loading the layout again clears the error.

Perhaps something similar is happening to your tourney.

If your "main screen" is in your Default screen set, it will be displayed when no other screen sets match the current tournament conditions.  You should have another screen set where the conditions are set to "In countdown" (in the Stage section), and the screen set should contain only the Seating Chart screen.  That should be it.  Of course, if you have other screen sets because you want to display other screens at various times during your tournament, you'll need to reconcile with those (meaning you might need to make sure you don't have overlapping conditions, such that two different screen sets are valid for the same point in your tournament, and that the sets are ordered properly if the conditions do overlap so that the desired set is chosen).
