Points for Hits

If you run a tournament where  each player get points for every player that they eliminate. Does the winner get awarded the points that would have been on his head?
I know that in a bounty / head hunter -  the player would keep his own bounty.
Would it be possible to do it in such away, so that the winning players points could be added to his final score in a game.

The idea behind this is to award a prize for the player who gets the most hits over the length of a league.

Hits are hits, and the since no one busted out the winner, there's no hit to be awarded.  But there's no reason you can't simply add points to the player who ranked 1st.

<whatever you current formula is> + if(rank = 1, 1)
