Hi guys and girls,

I need some help on how to show the 'bagged up' chip count going into day 2 of a tournament on the seating page ... can anyone give me the tip on how to add this to the field next to individual player names?

Appreciate your help

Templates, Layouts and Sounds / Re: 8 Game Mixed Layout
« on: July 26, 2018, 06:34:31 PM »
So i was able to work this out, a few little things to fix on this screen with the logo sizing - but it was game day!

I think for a bigger tournament i will add some other details including entries, average stack and next blind level - but this was fine for a single table mixed

It worked well - the structure was suspiciously the same as the WSOP 8 Game - except i removed the repeated Level 4

Was time consuming but satisfying to finally work out!

if anyone wants the basic layout for a game - just email or message me here

cheers

Templates, Layouts and Sounds / 8 Game Mixed Layout
« on: July 25, 2018, 04:55:08 AM »
Good evening all,

Has anyone been able to negotiate the layout page and cells etc to come up with a snazzy looking 8 game mixed layout that separately shows the

- Limit games of 2-7, Holdem & Omaha8 - including blinds and limits e.g. sb 50 bb 100 limits 100/200
- Stud Games of Razz, Stud Hi and Stud8 - including bring-in / completetion / limits
- No Limit Holdem and PLO - including sb/bb and ante (if applicable)

The games change (for me) every 6-7 hands so i need all separate amounts for each of the three game types

I imagined two columns - one side showing clock, round and break ... the other details of each game type and the blinds/limits etc

I want to be amazing at the coding and changes but you know what they say, play to your strengths!

Any help would be appreciated!!!!!

Help Me / Re: Xml code - Prize suggestions
« on: May 24, 2018, 06:55:27 AM »
Hi there - thanks for the tip! However, after making all the changes (see attached file) i had another configuration parse error: Exception parsing file on line 9 ...

there doesn't appear (to me) for anything to be different around line 9 or anywhere near it !

these codes are way out of what i would normally play with - really appreciate any further tips you could give me?

Help Me / Xml code - Prize suggestions
« on: May 24, 2018, 02:15:33 AM »
Hi team ... i have attached the .XML file changes i made ... error message "Exception parsing file on line: 367"

Line 367 in the text is pretty close to being the end - i compared it to the original and they appear the same to me.

Any thoughts?

Is there any easier way to change the number of players paid in a tournament in increments of 10% of total field?

Thanks in advance!

General Discussion / Basic Formula
« on: April 08, 2014, 07:15:16 PM »
Hi guys and girls !

This is probably a basic question for you - i am after some help with a formula for TTD as follows :-

I run a home game with 8 - 11 players and i want the results to look like this :-

- Points for playing = number of buyins
- Top 3 are awarded extra points - 1st = 3 bonus points, 2nd = 2 bonus points and 3rd = 1 bonus point

Any help would be appreciated !!!!

have a great day !

I think i found the solution ... buyins + switch)r, 1,3,2,2,1,1)

Help Me / Barcode scanning ability
« on: June 19, 2008, 01:26:46 AM »
Hi there peoles - forgive me if i have missed a thread on this.

Does TD support an external "barcode" scanner to be attached so the buy-in of players can be simplified by the scanning o thier membership card barcode ?

It is used widely with APl & NPl (Australia Poker Legue & National Poker League) ........ now that membrships are increasing it would be easier (for me!) .... any thoughts ??

Hi There tandermx ... apologies for being so unclear .....

the bonus points are awarded as a multiplier of total entrants .... 30 players would return the following :-

1st = 30 (bonus) plus 10 (for playing) = 40 points
2nd = 27 (0.9 * 30 players) plus 10 = 37
16th and below = 10 for playing ....

i appreciate your help and any direction you can provide ...

cheers

Templates, Layouts and Sounds / Newbie trying to formulate ranking points
« on: January 15, 2008, 04:12:36 AM »
Hi guys - downloaded this on he weekend - awesome program but i am having trouble working out how to formula the points system for our next 10 week tourney - i would love any help you could provide - details as follows :-

 - The top 15 finishes are awarded points based on the total number of enrants in the tournament
i.e.
1st = 1
2nd = 0.9
3rd = 0.85
4th = 0.80
5th = 0.75
6th = 0.7
7th = 0.65
8th = 0.60
9th = 0.55
10th = 0.50
11th = 0.45
12th = 0.40
13th = 0.35
14th = 0.3
15th = 0.25
16th plus = 10

 - ALL players receive 10 points just for playing ... with the 1-15th spots receiving bonus points for the finishing position.

 - overall tournamn standing will be the agregate of points - pretty sure i can ork that one out though.

would really appreciate some help - regards

Shannon   ??? ::)
