Beta Testing / Mass Rebuy and add-ons
« on: June 14, 2007, 07:34:39 PM »
I see that when in simple mode you can do the mass rebuy's and add-ons but it will not use the seating chart. IT would be nice if that could be in the player track mode as well as a option. The down side of course it will not could in players stats but for example my last tournament I sold 400 re-buys and 66 add - ons.

Receipts

I found how to print. Problems that I found are:

1.  If you add a player to the tournament from the data base or a new player, you have to enter them, then once they are registered in the tournament then you have to right click on there name and then buy them in so it will print a receipt which is not easy for mass entry's.

2.  Will only allow to select Saleman when doing a refund. Selling entry's you must must enter in the name manually.

3.  When a Receipt is printed it has only the Logo, Salesmen, Receipt #, date, and amount. Would be a lot better if it had name and date of event and name of the player to prove who's receipt it is or has been refunded for in case of computer crashes so there is a back up. The receipt could be a lot smaller. Logo is nice but not really needed. I use a epson tm-t88III printer for my receipts. The printer is like one a bars and restaurants use for receipts for customers food.

Only other thing that would be great if it could be done is to have each salesman/Housemen have there own cash box. That would say how many entry's each Houseman has sold for that tournament. This way if a Housemen doesn't have the correct amount of cash for the entry's sold in there cash box, I know who to go after and what players may have not paid.

The changes that have been done to the program is great. I Already used it in my weekly tournament and had No problems.

With the receipts option.
How does that work?  ???

The help says I have to turn it on but when I buy a player into the tournament there is no option to print?

And I see there is a area to enter in Sales people but how does the program know who is selling what.

The Collapse order is great  ;D . Now when I run my big tournaments I don't have tables all over the place.

Yes when breaking a table it arranges the names by seat on the table breaking seats 1 to 10 instead by alpha by name would make it a lot faster to move the players.

Suggestions that I have that would make the program even better would be,

1. Being able to choose the order of which tables would break in what order. And or when it is time to break a table TD2 asks which table to break. (Or control when dealing with many tables and multi rooms)

2. When TD2 breaks a table have the players in order by seat on the table that is breaking and to the table they are going to.

3. Being able to put in Mass rebuys and add-on's.

4. Multi Monitor So the Clock can always be on the full screen and on the other monitor being able to do data entry and table breaking and moving.

5. Having a place to do percent held back instead of fixed dollar amount.

6. To be able to print receipts to players buying in to the tournament. Name/Tourney Info/ Who sold it.

7. To be able to assign a (Player Number) to each player instead of having to look through a data base with more than 500 players.

Just a few idea's for us would are using this program in Poker Rooms

I agree. When doing tournaments with 300+ rebuys and only so much time to enter in the amounts so players can see the timer is very important. Even if TD could do multi monitor would help. This way you could have the Timer on one screen and all the edit screens on the other.

Rebuys And Add On's

With the Tournament I run in my poker room I do Multi rebuys as the tournament is going on. It would be nice to see instead of having to put each rebuy in one by one to have a place where you can put all the rebuys in at once. Sometimes there are over 200 rebuy's. The Same goes for the add on's. Players care more about how much is in the Prize Pool then would did how many rebuys. This would make it alot faster to enter in the amounts

Additional Rake for Charity

My Casino is Sponsored by a Charity that takes a % out of the prize pool. The program needs a % removed for this reason for people running Poker Rooms
