Automatic Clock Pause
« on: January 17, 2007, 03:27:06 PM »
wondering is there a feature, where when rounds change between rounds the clock pauses automaticly?
so that the blinds can change in between time?

Two options, both on the Preferences tab:

Pause the clock at the end of rounds
Pause the clock at the end of breaks

Corey this is something I would like to use as well.  I mean it's not terrible hard to hit the pause button but I like to start the break after all hands have finished play.  So maybe a 3rd option "Pause Clock at start of breaks"?

Not necessarily.  Then it would pause at the end of every round, instead of only at the end of rounds in which the next level is a break.

You can define this 2 different ways, but either way there are still 4 separate cases:

Pause at the end of rounds
Pause at the end of breaks
Pause at the start of rounds
Pause at the start of breaks

... or ...

Pause between rounds
Pause between breaks
Pause between round - break
Pause between break - round

The last 2 being "Pause between levels in which the last level was a round and the next level is a break", "Pause between levels in which the last level was a break and the next level is a round".

I can certainly see uses for all of them.

for slow systems like my laptop, it would be cool to see a pause clock for bust out.
I have seen it take up to a minute for the clock to pause when i press space and by the time it does pause i forgot what the heck i was trying to pause it for.  lol.

Hi Corey,
I would like to also see the option clock pause on bust out.   Since I do all the rebuys and manage the software during a tourney and play, I must be loosing at least 15 min of playing time just because of that.  I know I just need to pause manualy the timer, but if I could save a step, It would realy help me.  We have an average of 12-15 rebuys per tourney.

To me it just make sence to have that option available.

Thanks,

your software ROCK! I've been using it for the last 5 months and It made my life much more easyer!

Long live POKER!
