2.6 b2 Seating Positions Screen
« on: July 30, 2010, 09:15:06 AM »
Hi Corey,

This is the first time I have noticed this, I have used it before and did not see any problem, when displaying seating postions in list mode with more than one columb I seem to be loosing the 0 from seat 10. So it looks like there is 2 players on seat 1 at each table!

Seat 10 shows fine when multiple columns are not used though

hmmm, strange seat 10 is back again and I can't seem to replicate the problem.  If I can find it again I will let you know

Very interesting.  Please let me know if you see it again.  I'll take a look at the code just to be sure.

I see what is happening.  The code lays out the listing, then measures the columns containing the table & seat and sets it wide enough to make sure the entire table & seat is displayed.  Then the remaining space is divided up to display player names (meaning player names can get chopped if the screen isn't wide enough).  However, it looks like if a table name is long enough it doesn't allocate enough space for some reason, and the 0 in "10" gets cut off.  I'll fix it for beta 3.  Good catch.

Great catch.  That was definitely a bug and not a weird Internet Explorer quirk or anything like that.  It is fixed for beta 3.
