Title: Status Update - questions
Post by: Linker_Split on February 01, 2018, 04:35:53 PM
Hi Corey,
I'm testing the status updates feature, and I would like to know if there is away to export some more info:
I would like to expor the name of the single tables, and the list of players that are sat down. If not possible, at leasat the number of players sat at a particular table.
Do you think it is possible to do that?

Sure, it's possible.  I'll put it on the long list of items to-do.  :)

Hi Corey, thanks or the info.
Just out of curiosity, do you know if there is a software that kinda "reads" what is on a screen, and can post it on a website?

Probably, although it depends on what you mean.  I've seen plenty of applications that do 'screen scraping', where they read a website, look for pertinent information and "scrape" it from the site.  Most are written from scratch for a very specific job.  Probably some generic ones out there though.  What are you trying to do?

I am trying to get the HTML code from the clock window and to paste it into a file that is automatically updated in my website.

This is where the Status Updates feature would help, but it will require some coding.  Since the Status Updates can post the tournament status to a web site, the site could respond to that posting by updating a page automatically.
