I know there are issues with displaying a TD screen on Widescreen if it isn't set up for that, but if I don't use full screen layout I could just open the program and size it to the TD window size couldn't I - so that I don't have stretch issues on a widescreen?
I am thinking that I will be sending the output to both a widescreen 16:9 monitor and a regular monitor 4:3 in the near future. I don't have a widescreen to test on.

I don't believe there are/will be issues with displaying the TD on any particular resolution, be it considered "wide-screen" or not. If you can resize your browser to a particular resolution, you should be able to resize the TD to the same resolution. It will work.
As we've talked about before in a different thread, the issue I see is outputting to two different resolutions, which it sounds as if you are proposing. I don't know how this could be possible. If you are simply splitting a signal, your two monitors will have to be the same resolution. The fact that one is widescreen and one is not won't make a difference, as they will still get the same resolution. On modern LCD monitors, I believe the monitor will stretch the image properly, using whatever means built into the hardware. Older LCD monitors might have simply showed a smaller screen. For example, if you output a 1024x768 screen to an older LCD monitor that was 1280x768, you'd still get 1024x768 (using single pixels), with black bars on the sides (ie, the full resolution simply isn't used, much like widescreen movies displayed on conventional TVs have black bars at the top and bottom).
Either way, I don't think the TD will be your issue.
