General Discussion / Online League Sofware - Shark Stats now LIVE!
« on: June 10, 2008, 05:10:45 AM »
Hi there guys and gals,

I have been using TD for just over 2 years and I must say it makes the nights that I run that much more easier. The stats that I collect are over a few venues and I have a site that holds all of the leagues etc.

On this site I have a script that I use that show the stats in a graphical way. It allows you to see /use the following

Admin Backend:
Uploading a pre-set CSV from TD to the database
Add/Edit Players details
Add/Remove players Avatars
Add/Edit/Remove leagues
Add/Edit/Remove events

Front End:
Average finishes overall
Finishes per venue
How deep you ran on average
ROI based on buyins / Winnings
Your Nemesis
Compare against other player in the league

The reason I am talking about this is because I am developing a site that will allow users to host their own league results, with the graphical interface. You can see it all working http://www.sussex-poker.co.uk/index.php?categoryid=22 . The graphics of the front and back end are all being changed to take on a web 2.0 look and feel.

If you are interested in this let me know and I will be opening a few free review spots to test when shark-stats.com goes live at the end of June.

let me know if you are interested.

Skelly  ;D

not a dumb question at all. I use photoshop and put the names in after the tournament as I use it as a month end final table graphic. I have not used the latest TD version to test the new seating feature. If I get chance to test it out I will let you know how I get on.

Help Me / Re: Bounty on a player
« on: February 08, 2008, 07:02:41 AM »
The only problem with this method is if this is a re-buy tournament the bounty will only count on the final KO, not for each re-buy KO.

The only way around this is to do is KO bounty manually.

General Discussion / Re: Cutting the Deck
« on: February 05, 2008, 09:15:13 AM »
In the local casion the ruling is left of the dealer  shuffles, right cuts.

This must be done before any cards can be delat. As far as I know as long as there is not a physical reason why the person on the right cannot cut, this MUST be done.

Hope that helps.

Sounds like a great idea.

You could get round the FTP with havung an IIS (Personal web server) set-up, so people could pick up the details by entering your IP address.

That would be a great feature as I always have a couple of players wanting to know the odds of hands.

Not to put you off TD but the solution you are looking for would be just to use a simple spreadsheet system. This would allow you to just put the top 10 in and then get it to calculate stats.

I use TD as the main part of my poker nights, recording KO's, timing the rounds, bounty prizes and then get it all in a monthly league. It is a lot of hard work and the admin can get a little crazy at times, but my customers get a lot out of knowing who is where and how they are doing week on week.

So its down to the TD really and the amount of depth they want to go.

If you need a spreadsheet just PM for details as I have an old one I can repackage.
