Suggestions / Event and Token Attributes Suggestions
« on: November 07, 2011, 09:17:46 AM »
I'm starting to really get into customizing the TD and came up with a few suggestions.

I would like to see the following attributes added to the Rankings token:

rotate=
rotateMax=
rotateDelay=

It would also be nice to split Ending of Rounds and Ending of Breaks into 2 different events. Reason is I don't want to use sounds at the end of breaks or I want to use a different sound for the end of breaks.

If I'm just missing on how to do this then I appologize.

Help Me / Re: V3 Default Data Store
« on: November 02, 2011, 11:30:48 AM »
Just an update, my tourney ran fine last night without any V3 software problems. I did a use the undo bust out, undo rebuy, chops, move player finish position and undo chop, every thing worked great. My next project is to see if I can get status updates working.

Thanks Corey!

I think I have all of my settings and templates moved and reset some prefs, I ran a test tourney and it seemed to do just fine. I have a 40 player tourney tonight to give it a good run.

Beta Testing / Re: Version 3.0 is now available

Just found out that the 2.6b5 will no longer work. Guess I will have to use V3 tonight. I will run a quick test tourney this afternoon. Wish me luck!

Nice Corey! I have a big tourney tomorrow but I think I will use 2.6b5 since I have it setup and ready to go. I downloaded V3 and will play with it later this week and see how it goes. Looks like some great new features.

Suggestions / Multiple Break Types
« on: October 22, 2011, 09:50:49 AM »
I would like to see the option to have multiple break types. After every 2 levels I have a 1 min break that I use for dealers to change tables. Instead of the screen saying "break" I would like for it to say "Dealer Change". Then when I have a real player break I would like for the screen to say "break". The problem I'm having is around the 2hr mark when the dealer break happens all the players think is a player break and start to get up and leave their tables and I have to tell them to sit back down and continue playing.

Thanks,

Chuck

Templates, Layouts and Sounds / Re: Export Stats To HTML Layout

Thanks Corey, that is what I thought. I will just manually make the changes in Dreamweaver.

Templates, Layouts and Sounds / Export Stats To HTML Layout
« on: September 11, 2011, 04:20:10 PM »
I have been playing with the StatsExport.html file but I can't seem to get what I want. What I would lilke to do is left align a specific columns data, and have other columns set to center the data. I have set the css on the .StatsColumnHeader to center, which centers all of the column headers, easy enough. I cannot find which file I would need to alter to change individual columns of data. I'm assuming it would be in the TD.lib file since that seem to be the only file I cannot open. Any help on how to modify this? I know I can go into dreamweaver after I export the file and manually change this but I would rather have it automatically do it each time.

Thanks,

Chuck

General Discussion / Re: How to calculate points for a ranking?
« on: August 23, 2011, 02:49:13 PM »
Here is a formula I use.

10*(SQRT(n)/(r)) - 5 + (numberOfHits*1.25) - (rebuys*5)
A. Gives a base of 5 points for last place no matter how many players (assuming they do not rebuy).
B. The more players the more the points your get for your place of finish.
C. Players get 1.25 points for each bounty earned.
D. Players are given -5 points for each rebuy.

Beta Testing / Re: Rounds

Just as an FYI, I noticed this too but with trying to change the length of time for breaks. If you click off of the Rounds tab, then back on it changes.
