Title: Adding text to Action Summary?
Post by: Jaxen on March 02, 2010, 05:03:09 PM
There used to be, or so I thought, a way you could input things into the action summary (notes, chip counts, winning hands, etc.) ... I'm looking all over for it now and can't find it, maybe I'm just having a brain fart. Was it a figment of my imagination or something just in earlier editions? I'm in 2.5.8.

The action summary is strictly that, a summary of every item considered an action (a buy-in, bust-out, rebuy, etc).  If something is "undone", it will be removed from the Action Summary, as if it never happened.  Actually, the Action Summary is generated each time you look at it by running through the tournament and compiling a list of all of the actions.

There is also a Tournament History that is more of a "log" of items.  It records more things than the Action Summary, and once in the History they aren't removed unless you reset the tournament.  You can also add items of your own.  There's a button for the Tournament History on the Game tab, or you can get to it from the context menu (right-click) in the Game window.

Thanks Corey, as usual. It was the Tournament History I was looking for. I like to add things like chip counts at the start of the final table, hand matchup in the late bustouts, etc., then copy it onto the results page for our league website. I got Tourney History mixed up with Action History.
