I would like to assign sounds to individual players i.e. if a player busts someone out his own bust out tune would be played is there anyway to do this.

I know what your saying about the iphone and vnc the ipad should be alot better for this use but what you have described sounds good as a custom gui would be better with selective features, I hope corey responds soon as I am sure there is a lot of people interested in this.

Help Me / Vnc and iphone help

I am having severe problems with trying to control TD over VNC with my iphone basically I have tried every app available for the Iphone and nearly all Pc apps like tightvnc, ultravnc, realvnc they all end up with the same outcome.

Ok heres whats happening I can connect to vnc and all works fine until I open up TD this causes the connection to fail with a unexpected error on all apps I can reconnect but and see the screen but while the cursor moves on the iphone it does not move on the screen.

I am running windows 7 on a lg netbook the iphone is running 3.2 and I.E8.

I use to have this working whilst I was on xp, so is anyone using win7 I know its not the software as it works fine until I run TD also TD does seem to be causing my cpu to overload at times I know its only a netbook with atom processor but my cpu is maxed at times 100.

How do you go back to the default table layout, you know the ones with plain writing inside white background boxes I loaded a template but don't seem to have the default tables anymore

re the second picture - anyone know what gaming system that is used there, I see it used in many UK casinos and the announcements are awesome would love to try and get a hold of the event sounds from that program if anyone has any info it would be muchly appreciated!

Yep I second that, I too have been trying to get these sounds i am sure someone out there will know what software this is.

just to clarify here......do i need a wireless router connected and working to obtain communication between the laptop and my ipod touch.....laptop has wireless built in...and of coarse the ipod touch is also wireless capable...

the problem is where i hold my torneys there is no internet or routers avaiable....thanks

you should be able to do a adhoc connection, i.e turn your laptop into a hotspot and connect the ipod this so no router would be needed.

My laptop runs Tournament Director and VNC server. My iphone runs the VNC client. The Tournament Director screen shows on both the plasma screen connected to my laptop and on my iphone. I use the keyboard on my iphone to run all the keyboard controls. It's cool! The screen on the plasma doesn't move around, but does show the cursor and menu screens when I'm controlling it using the iphone.

That is similar to what I am doing, I use dual monitor though so the laptop and ipod only show config screen and the plasmaa shows the tournament, you can also show the tourney on the iphone aswell, it could just be so much better if someone would develop a app to control TD directly.

What would be great would be a iphone version of TD, basically you set up TD as normal then export tournament to iphone, iphone then stays in sync over wi-fi and has basic bust out, pause, blinds and so on, the display would have to be designed to fit the touch's screen.

That would be the perfect combination.

Thank you for the VNC idea. I am now using Jaadu VNC to control my Tournament Director display remotely from my iphone and works like a charm! I am currently setting up 2 computers (1 running the app & 1 mirroring via Dameware) for multi-room play.

This what i was doing but got fed up with having to move the screen about all the time, is this what you are doing.

We've just finished a universal module that allows you to show the top X players for dates selected by you.

They can be shown for either:

Top Points Scorer
Most Final Tables
Most Wins
Highest Average Score.
