Beta Testing / Problem with importing file
« on: July 02, 2017, 08:16:48 PM »
The way I'm running my tournament, every tournament name are added using an CSV File (you know how i work Corey). I use the same CSV file as before, with the Column names and the information under it. But for some reason TD3.4 see  the list but show me error when i look at the new "view" option under it.  The first line 1. with all the column name is fine and recognize. Line 2. and 3.  (because i had only 2 names) show all the right info but in red. No matter what is checked or not (looking at DB and/or the tournament list). in the option  it seems TD3.4 don't accept them.

If its just a matter of changing the way my file is done i have no problem. Otherwise i need this option to work since it is the only way we are registering players in our tournament.

Thanks in Advance and well done for the interface. Everyone that work with it here really like the new look. Its more 2017, look smooth, more clear, Great job

P.S. Unrelated other question, the Table interface, if we are not using the picture (not sure yet if we will or not) is there any way to revert to the old kind of table interface? When we have a tournament with 40 tables or so its gonna be crazy to scroll around.

Help Me / Re: Random player on Extended Display
« on: June 29, 2017, 08:34:24 PM »
That's great news, thanks!!

I have just install the Beta but i don't see the <Randomplayer> option, my guess is its not in the version in the link but only added to your template.

Do you think it would be possible to have it in the beta now to test it  ;)
I have exactly the promotion starting in July just for that, would be perfect to test!

Thanks again, and Beta looks very quick from what I've seen so far, Good job!

I was looking for this also, i wanted to have the option to put in the layout, so when i press Go for the random, the randomizing we see would be shown in the layout and then you see the Player that win.

Seeing the randomizing is really important for us because we have huge field and we always want to be transparent when you do something like that. Player like to see the randomization, they feel more secure that the draw is real which is normal.

Would it be possible to have that option?

« on: April 30, 2017, 01:32:48 PM »
Hi Corey,

i have this line code that show on the layout the position of the player out, his name and the point he makes in the tournament. i would like to change the point for the prizes money he makes instead but i cant figure out how to make it work. Can you help?

Thx

<marquee behavior="scroll" direction="left" scrollamount="5" scrolldelay="1">
<p style="text-align: center"</marquee><inlinerankings template=" [ordinalrank] place: [player]..[points] points " connector="&lt;img src='C:\Users\Playground\Documents\Playground Database\images\test.png'&gt;" max="75">

Thanks for considering it!

Quick little request, Could it be possible to have maybe 3 or even better 4 digits to the prizes %?

Right now we have only 2 digits and i'm stuck with prizes structures such as 8.2555%
when i enter the 4 digits TD rounds the number and it make more or less % on total.
This kind of problem happen to me when i have to enter more then 100 places paids. The payout stretch so much that i have to go with 4 digits to have a good control of the difference between the prizes.

Thanks for considering.

Help Me / Re: On screen layout information shown
« on: September 04, 2016, 12:56:57 AM »
I have this formula to show the points on the screen

<marquee behavior="scroll" direction="left" scrollamount="5" scrolldelay="1">
<p style="text-align: center"</marquee><inlinerankings template=" [ordinalrank] place: [player]..[points] points " connector="&lt;img src='C:\Users\Playground\Documents\Playground Database\images\test.png'&gt;" max="75">

So its scrolls from right to left at the bottom of the screen, i would like to change the information its shows.

Instead of:  33rd place: Asegzamfire... 214 points

I would like to show the prize the player won, like that: 33rd place: Asegzamfire... $200

It seems that i cant find the command to show the prize awarded instead of the point.

Thanks for the help again

Help Me / On screen layout information shown
« on: August 22, 2016, 05:45:26 PM »
I was wondering if it was possible to make some kind of addition and show it on the screen.

For example i have 94 entry in my tournament and 17 re-entry (We use rebuy for the re-entry because we are tracking the names and don't want to make name like Eric, Eric-1 Eric-2.

On my screen we show it this way

Entries: <entries><br>Re-entry: <rebuys><br>Remaining: <players>

Which appear like that:

Entries: 94
Re-entry: 17
Remaining: 18

I would like to have the Entries to show the full amount entry which is 94 + 17  (total of 111) but still show how many was Re-entry.

It would looks like this:

Entries: 111
Re-entry: 17
Remaining: 18

I tried some formula but the layout don't read them and just show them on the screen. If you have any idea how i could make this work it would help.

Thanks

Help Me / Late registration timer
« on: April 29, 2016, 11:19:23 AM »
I can set the layout to show the timer till next break but my problem is that late registration last until the end of the break.

Is there any way i can target a specific round of level and show a countdown for it?

It would be good to use for special feature to do on a specific round or any other option like that the Director could have a use for.

So far i didn't find anyway to do this.

Exemple: Lets say break is after round 4 by my late registration last until round 6. I want to show the countdown until the end of round 6 (or start of round 7)
Any Help?

If it can help to solve that problem for now. I personally had that problem with assistant that was opening template and forget to save it in the date folder.

I simply decided to create all the folder for the month and the day in the month folder. Then i put a copy of the template in each of the day they belong too.

First of all i am sure every tournament are save where they are suppose to be saved (not loosing any tournament), it prevent the assistants from messing with the template, They are sure everything is perfect when they come in to run the tournament.

If you are using different league and use the stats Tab for your point, just make it the month folder and then the day folder, and all the dated tournament (date in the tittle) or every tournament in a folder with the date of the day. Our schedule is changing over month so its better for me like that but if it can help you!

My bad Corey i was only adding the money to the house contribution and then going back to the prizes tab. All the money was given to the bubble, i simply had to trigger the automatic. Just click on the button then press ok and it was setting up correctly.  Thx
