Title: Multiple LCD Screens Displaying TD Clock via HDMI
Post by: Stuart Murray on January 17, 2010, 03:36:39 PM
Hi all,

I've got a big tourney coming up which will be in four different rooms!  I already have ran successfully 2 screens using an HDMI splitter and leads, and have enough leads and splitters for the next one, but this does not work when I connect all the cables up it's seems as if the signal degrades.

I have had a look on Ebay and it's looks like I need to buy some repeaters for the cables, to stop signal degredation, but I can find no definative descriptions that match my requirements, the best I can find is a splitter for one output to two inputs, but I will have 4 or 5 LCD's running the TD clock with sound.

Anyone who can help?

Regards
Stuart

Here is a splitter wich had an amplifier built in...it is a VGA splitter, one input and 8 outputs and can be cascaded to allow endless number of monitors

Thats great if your working with VGA.  I'm working with HDMI, which carries blind announcements etc to the televisions also.  Anyone worked with HDMI on single input to multiple screens before?

Thanks for the help got a HDMI 1-4 splitter off Ebay for £55! happy days, works a treat and can be piggy backed also.  longest lead on the line is 15m with no problems for carrying the sound and display to all the different brand of LCD's and plasmas.
