Inserting a specific sound at the end of each level
« on: January 27, 2009, 11:07:07 AM »
At the moment, i have 1 sound to play at the end of each level just stating "the blinds are up"

I have now used that website to convert text to speech to annouce what the blinds are at the end of each level, but how do i assign a specific sound to each level,

25 & 50 at the end of level 1
50 & 100 at the end of level 2
etc etc

Any help would be appreciated
Thx

Hi mate, wouldn't you want the blinds announced at the start of the level?

Anyway, once you've added your sound you need to set up your event. I've attached an example of level 1 25/50, you will need to adjust the description and level number depending on which level you're setting up.

Any problems, just let me know and I'll help you through it.

ok tested it tonigt and it was working all the way upto level 7 - 300 600
As soon as level 8 kicked in with 500 1000 blinds, she kept repeating herself over & over again, happened on the levels after too.

The code i have for level 8 is - (isround=1)and(level=8)

Have i mseed up somehwere ?
Thx

That happen to me too.  Are you using wave files?  If so, convert them to mp3 files that should correct the problem.  It worked for me.

This is what I use; http://audacity.sourceforge.net/download/windows

Download this and other features.  Also, I use this to edit other sounds for me tournaments.  For example; the attachment.  I added the ending to the ESPN World Poker Tournament Theme (the female talking).
