Title: Tournament formulas

Is there a recognised formula that one should use in tournaments (or in a series of tournaments in may case).

I am running approx 20 tournaments over about 6 months and want to take in as many variables that are actually relevant.

I've tried to think of things like reducing points for those who have had more rebuys than others, and also how many rebuys there were or how much money went into a comp or the number of players etc etc.

Anything anyone can offer is appreciated.

(n-r)+1

Number of players minus their rank plus one... the very basic of all formulas here. Anything else is all up to you if you want to do it or not..

BTW this post should be in the help section, not suggestions  ;)

I actually reposted when I couldn't find the original. I've obviously posted it in the wrong place when I'd been doing some reading here.
