Title: Starting clock after sound
Post by: jhisey on June 11, 2010, 10:05:36 AM
Is there a way to create an event that will play a sound and then start the tournament clock?  I can only get the clock and sound to start at the same time, not in sequence (in a single event at least).

Nope.  You'll probably have to trigger the sound to occur before the tournament starts.  So, if you've got a 30-second intro that you want to play, and then the tournament starts, create an event that plays the sound during the countdown when the countdown clock reaches 30 seconds left.

That sounds like it would work.  How do I start a countdown timer though?

Countdown button on the Game tab or Start Countdown button on the Controls tab.

Or, if you don't want to do a countdown, manually add 30 seconds to the clock before starting. 30 minute level? Set the clock to 30:30 then start the tournament.

Unless you have a different version, Jaxen, TD only allows one minute increments (I'm using a beta version)

It's true that the schedule only allows for 1 minute granularity, but I think Jaxen is referring to manually adding 30 seconds to the clock (right-click on the Game window and select "Set Clock", or press the"Set Clock" button on the Controls tab).

Bingo.
