Hi Corey,
I was wandering along with the soundpicker if it would be possible to have seperate buttons which can be named and programmed to play selected sounds in the messages section?
If there was say 8 blank buttons that can be programmed with which sound to play and also named as a preference for your own TD install?

Sounds like a good feature request. I'll see what I can do.

something along this idea Corey, you can see the sound picker window open in the active tournament.

Interesting. So, kind of like a sound board? A modeless dialog (like the hand timer or help window - one that stays on top but doesn't demand focus - you can still access the window underneath) with buttons for various configured sounds?

Love this suggestion... Has my vote as something I would like to eventually see implemented :)

yeh, sounds good Corey,
A simpler form would be to have the sound buttons located on the settings tab under the message section, but a floating sound window would be good too!
The picture is just to demonstrate how the tournament software we use in UK casino's does the job for us, it's whole operation is window orientated, as you can see with prizes, announcements and Active Tournament windows all open (it's very like windows 3.1)

When you say settings tab (and I may be using an old version) Which tab are you referring to? I don't have a settings tab. My message window is on the controls tab. Is that the same one you are talking about?
If it is I would agree. Being able to play a pre-loaded sound with an "on the fly" message would be nice.
i.e. the birthday song with an appropriate message.

The "Settings" tab is the Game tab that the program defaults to upon start up. Was looking at the Help guide in trying to figure out something else (if I can, and before I post help) and came across it. Section 5 of the help - Getting Started.
