Hi Corey I've a got a few new suggestions for TD
One of the issues I can see is TD is geared heavily towards the home game, in order to target the commercial market these changes would be appealing:
Controls tab:
Could we have a simplified eliminate and reinstate menu on the controls tab, with a immediate search option with player name, chipcount and status (Active or Eliminated)
Could we have a reduce/increase player numbers, rather than having to eliminate a player from the tourney we can just click -1/+1 so the TD shows the correct number of players in the tournament without having to track names.
In large tournaments of say 100 players, it is common to 'bust anyone' from the tournament and then when down to near the bubble we would take the names and re-instate those players to track through the bubble, player names are normally entered for initial seating purposes only with further consolidation and breaking being carried out manually, until redrawing for the final table etc.
I think the second suggestion would be slightly harder as your software seems to be dependant on players, where the software I use in casinos has no correlation between players and clock, for example when re-instating player names for cash tracking you can eliminate everyone and the tournament clock continues, the tournament is completed in a similar manner to starting the tournament, with a user intervention to tell the program the tournament is complete.
Regards
Stuart
