Suggestions / New item suggestions
« on: July 30, 2010, 07:36:45 AM »
Hi Corey I've a got a few new suggestions for TD

One of the issues I can see is TD is geared heavily towards the home game, in order to target the commercial market these changes would be appealing:

Controls tab:

Could we have a simplified eliminate and reinstate menu on the controls tab, with a immediate search option with player name, chipcount and status (Active or Eliminated)

Could we have a reduce/increase player numbers, rather than having to eliminate a player from the tourney we can just click -1/+1 so the TD shows the correct number of players in the tournament without having to track names.

In large tournaments of say 100 players, it is common to 'bust anyone' from the tournament and then when down to near the bubble we would take the names and re-instate those players to track through the bubble, player names are normally entered for initial seating purposes only with further consolidation and breaking being carried out manually, until redrawing for the final table etc.

I think the second suggestion would be slightly harder as your software seems to be dependant on players, where the software I use in casinos has no correlation between players and clock, for example when re-instating player names for cash tracking you can eliminate everyone and the tournament clock continues, the tournament is completed in a similar manner to starting the tournament, with a user intervention to tell the program the tournament is complete.

Hi Corey couple of issues I have detected so far:

When entering text in a dialogue box such as Edit Table OK is no longer highlighted by default so you cannot hit return or enter to ok the information without first tabbing to the ok box or clicking on it.

when hitting X or click bust-out on the controls screen the following error appears:

'this.getElement(...)' is null or not an object (ControlsTab, TournamentPage: 1031)

 at bustPlayersOutDialog(null, null, null)

Suggestions / Seperate Layout for Final Table
« on: June 02, 2010, 07:14:25 AM »
Hi Corey, another one!

Would it be possible to have a seperate layout for the final table?  I think it would involve quite a lot as it would mean a seperate layout settings for the final table and seperate conditions to display it?

At the moment I resize the fonts on the seating chart screen to allow a full screen display of the final table on the Seating Chart, once we are down to 10 players in a large MTT

Suggestions / Play Sound Picker on Controls Tab
« on: June 01, 2010, 06:39:35 AM »
Hi Corey,

I think this would be quite an easy one for you!

Could we have a play sound drop down menu on the controls tab?

Rather as having to goto the events or program events for specific soundfiles to play I could just select them from the menu and click play on the game control tab.

Suggestions / Blind Announcements
« on: May 11, 2010, 09:12:14 AM »
Hi Corey,

A thought:

Would it be possible to attribute blind announcements for each level on one event, with a target directing TD to which sound to announce for which level,

for example a new level starts at 100-200 this would then target the event to play the resultant 100-200 soundfile, or a break starts this would target it to play a break announcement, or is this a massive undertaking, I have TD programmed to announce each new level with an MP3 stating the new level, but obviously as soon as levels are changed or breaks It is quite a sizeable undertaking to adjust all the events to suit the structure.

Help Me / Events Message Displays
« on: March 06, 2010, 08:17:33 AM »
Hi Corey,

Quick question as I think the answer is no!

I am trying to have a flashing status message saying the blinds are increasing like this:

**** Blinds Increasing In ****
<clock>

But it only shows the clock time at trigger point.  Is is possible to have the message countdown with the main clock?

Cheers Bud!

Suggestions / Participation Fee
« on: February 27, 2010, 09:20:02 AM »
Hi Corey,

I have an issue with the buy-in and per player rake.  Normal games I run and UK casinos run will be for example £100+£10 so £100 straight to prize-pool and £10 participation charge.

Obviously at the moment the only way of doing this on TD is having the buy-in set to £110.  Can we either change the perplayerrake to a participation charge or add a participation charge to the game menu?

Help Me / Multiple LCD Screens Displaying TD Clock via HDMI
« on: January 17, 2010, 03:36:39 PM »
Hi all,

I've got a big tourney coming up which will be in four different rooms!  I already have ran successfully 2 screens using an HDMI splitter and leads, and have enough leads and splitters for the next one, but this does not work when I connect all the cables up it's seems as if the signal degrades.

I have had a look on Ebay and it's looks like I need to buy some repeaters for the cables, to stop signal degredation, but I can find no definative descriptions that match my requirements, the best I can find is a splitter for one output to two inputs, but I will have 4 or 5 LCD's running the TD clock with sound.

Anyone who can help?

Regards
Stuart

Help Me / Seating Chart
« on: December 10, 2009, 12:52:10 PM »
Hi there Corey,

Any chance you can redesign the list format of the seating chart to include columbs, as I could easily get 3 columbs of players listed alphabetically, as for larger tourneys (10+ tables) I find this is a better solution for players to pick up their seat number faster!  This would be something similar to the Cardroom MAGIC software I have been discussing, which allows about 90 names to be listed on one page.

Thanks for your help
Stuart

Templates, Layouts and Sounds / End of Tourney Display
« on: September 17, 2009, 08:48:43 AM »
Hi Corey, I am working on an end of tournament screen and was wandering how I could add a token on to display the final 10 placed winners and also their prize winnings I don't know if a token exists for displaying each position individually/prize winnings individually but this is the kind of idea I was thinking of:
Tournament Over! Congratulations to the winners! <br> <br> Winner : <1stname> <1stprize> <br> Second : <2nd> <2ndprize> and so on! thanks for your help again! Regards Stuart
