Lost data

Hi all,have problem, I had to delete Tournament Director due to laptop problems, when I went and reinstalled TD I lost all my previous saved games and players list, is there anyway of retrieving data, its mainly players list I am after.Thanks in advance

if you have formatted your hard drive and not backed up your TD data I have some bad news for you. The data is gone.

If all you did was uninstall The Tournament Director application (or actually delete the folder in which it is installed, typically "C:\Program Files\The Tournament Director 3" or "C:\Program Files (x86)\The Tournament Director 3"), then your data should still be there, as it is stored in a different location.  When you re-install the TD, you should still see your previous player database, saved tournaments, etc.  If you don't, it's likely the data isn't there anymore (but uninstalling or deleting the program itself would not have deleted your data).
