It looks like the issue was with "Automatically randomize seating at final table" was checked. I don't know how I did that. Either way, it's fixed now. Report from one of my TD's in the field said it worked fine.

I will check the "randomize" option and see if it was set. It may have only been a problem before I set the breakdown order.

What about a way to track players by venue? In your next release, do you think you'll put in a method for multiple locations?
For example, we play at several locations and each location had different players that qualify for a regional tournament based on their standings at that individual location.
It's still one league but I need to come up with a way to track events at each of our locations.

Is there a setting that I'm missing?
When I use the auto suggest player movement, it moves players still at tables that shouldn't be moved to other tables.
For example. Table 1 has three open seats. Table 2 is full and table 3 is down to 3 players. If I use the auto balance feature it will shift players to table one like it should but it also moves the players that are already AT table one.

I'm trying to develop a protocal for managing multiple event locations so that the data is kept in synch. Any thoughts?
For example: Monday there is a tournament at X Venue. Regular players show up and play plus several new members. Tuesday, we're at Y Venue and regulars show up, along with players from venue X plus new players.
What would you say is the best way to keep this data in synch?

I see what I was doing wrong. I thought the program was saving the DATA directory in the actual program directory. I didn't know it created a Tournament Director 2 Directory in my Documents folder.

Um, how does one change the columns that are viewed on this screen?
As you can see - this current view causes a problem with selecting the correct players.

How do I reset the database in this version. I read in another post to simply delete or rename the directory db however, there is no directory called db in my folder tree.

I think it's safe to say that they're right.
We're in 4 countries with a million and change active members.
As for contacting corporate, they've been very swamped with new changes in WPTAPL as well as with changes within the WPT itself. If you contacted them via email I do know that some email programs were placing their email in the SPAM folder.
There is a number you can call to speak to memberservices (316) 689-0600
Maybe I can help though. I'm a League owner with them.

Wait, you confused me. When you mentioned APL, I thought you were shortening our name. We used to be called the APL and as far as I'm aware, still hold the trademark. Hmm, might need to talk to someone about this one.
