I don't know if it is due to no players, but the pot shows as this to me: &pound0.00

It may be that I'm viewing on my kindle fire, but just in case, I wanted to point it out to you.

Cool. Question came to me as I found an accounting program for my non-poker related business, and its 100% portable via usb.

Thank you both!

Totally agree with you on that point. Figured I could offer an idea in case it hadn't come to you. Cheers!

I know this wouldn't be the best solution, but an idea could be to use Access or Open Office's Db program (free to get if you don't have access) and put the information in and sort that way. I would be willing to make a template ffor you, if you would like and pending some additional info. (Would be access, but open office has Ms office compatibility)

Edit: for tracking memberships, and other pertinent information, that is.

I run TD from 3 different PC in my house... all with the same configuration.... from the flashdrive, so it can be done.

3 different PCs, and only one download, or did you have to download on all? I'm looking to start up some leagues where I'm living now, and I know that some, if not all the locations would have computers in addition to my laptop. If I don't have to install on each individual computer, I don't want to. (Otherwise I can always use my own laptop, once my effin refund gets in)

Hey Corey,

Is it possible to install TTD on a flash drive, where it would be fully operational no matter which computer it were to be run on? Not a huge deal if not, just a question that came to mind just now

BTW - which version of TTD are you using? I want to ensure compatibility when being sent back and forth

I sure can take a look at it for you. Tell your buddy to search ONLY first OR last name, not both. Unless you have 1000s of names, going by one or the other should show results on one screen, or at worst a small scroll to check and enter. Should always use add player.

Send it to me at michael.brinkley@hotmail.com and I can fix it up for you. I've got plenty of time to kill tonight :)

The way that Corey told me, if I recall right, is to delete the duplicates from the database. Then you would have to go through and look for the italicized names in each tournament (that, or red, or both?) - that will show that they played, but are not in the database. From there, you would want to bring up the player profile of that player, and merge it with the database player.

When you register people, are you using "new player" or "add player"? If new, that would be the issue right there. Only thing I can think of off hand.

Agreed. I remove people out of my database after two complete seasons of no activity, about 1/2 - 3/4 of a year

point for making final table: if(r =<6, 1)    *note: might need to be <= instead of =<

Even easier, just use finalTable, which will be "1" if the player made the final table or "0" if they did not (determined by the largest table on the Tables tab).

Combined: n - r + 1 + finalTable - nr

didn't even realize there was a finalTable token... Sweet... would that work for an "if" statement?  if(finalTable=1,13), for example?

Points per rank as described: n-r+1
point for making final table: if(r =<6, 1)    *note: might need to be <= instead of =<
-1 for rebuy: -nr

Combined: n - r + 1 + if(r=<6, 1) - nr

How I handle league stats: Create the league with the name, and name a season. Each tournament should have the league name and the season setting for which it should be applied to. League scoring should be sum(points), where each tournament would have the point formula above.

There wouldn't be any quick-fix solution to adjust the remaining player's chip count... Only way that I know how would be to manually adjust the chip count of each remaining player. Not overly time consuming if you're only at 15-20 players, but may become so if you get a few rebuys as you are trying to adjust the count
