Help Me / Re: Help modifying my formula
« on: August 31, 2013, 06:36:03 PM »
You should be able to do this without too much complication. after your formula, just put "+ if n => 30, 30, 0"

Help Me / Re: my load button stopped working
« on: August 21, 2013, 11:24:49 AM »
Paul,

I use Chrome as my default browser, and I have yet to have an issue wtih TTD. The version of IE depends on when you got your computer. Since yours is telling you you have IE 9 and not IE 10, you should be good to go. Add ons for the browser are programs for the browser to customize and personalize the browser to your preference.  This help some?

Suggestions / Re: High Hand pool
« on: August 08, 2013, 09:17:07 PM »
If you're looking for a way for TTD to do this automatically, it's not going to fully be able to do so. You can, however, create a rake, and adjust the players' buy-ins at the time they choose to enter the pool. The software, though, will not know who had the best hand - That is something you will need to do yourself. You can create a prize, for the amount of the rake, but you will have to manually award it to the player that had the best hand of the night. If you have a split with it, you will have to create multiple prizes, and find out how it splits up.

Help Me / Re: Add On Chip Token printed on receipts
« on: July 31, 2013, 12:15:39 AM »
I don't use receipts, personally, but I have an idea which may or may not work.

Is it possible to modify the receipt template (or the token to display the amount) so that it displays both on a line - something like "$20/T 3,000", or replace the buy in to show the tournament chips?

If it's not, I apologize, just trying to throw out an idea to help  ;D

Help Me / Re: Bounties kept by the House
« on: July 14, 2013, 03:47:20 PM »
I may be off the wall with this, but would you be able to change their buy-in after the fact? My line of thinking is similar to how you put it - a raked bounty. You could (depending on version of TTD you're running) create a profile for it, name it raked bounties, and if able to, change their outright bounty purchase to a raked bounty purchase.

Again, I may be off the wall with this, but it is an idea.

Help Me / Re: 8 game mix
« on: July 10, 2013, 10:49:36 AM »
What I know is that there is no way for TTD to know when it's switching games, especially since you're going by number of hands and not time. If I recall, one of the boxes you can use in the layout will state what the name of the game is (Hold 'Em, Razz, etc). Since it is by number of hands, about the only thing I can suggest is to change the game name manually when the first table or two changes.

Help Me / Re: Multiple computers
« on: July 08, 2013, 09:19:32 PM »
Possible, maybe. Will it work the way you intend? No.

One suggestion to allow the cage to assist: have them buy in your players, but not seat them (as they will not know what seats have been taken by your registrants). If possible, have the cage print a receipt. Once buy ins are complete, or upon request, have them export the players to a file or even print it off, and send it to you.

Help Me / Re: Formula returning error
« on: July 01, 2013, 11:38:39 PM »
You've made it much more complicated than it needs to be. For using a simple switch, it should be switch(r, 1, 90, 2, 75, 3, 65, 4, 60, 5, 55, 6, 50, 7, 45, 8, 40, 9, 35) + 10.

This looks different, but this is right: the "+ 10" gives everyone 10 points. Top ten get the remainder of the points as you show it.

Not too sure, but probably a meant change. I know windows sorts it the same way you now experience, so I wouldn't be surprised if that be the reason, if indeed it was intended to be

Help Me / Re: RFID Mifare 1K and TD

Of all the times that I've had issues with programs, every time I've been told "admin mode". Never worked for me... lol... Glad to hear that you've got it working with it though!

Help Me / Re: Stats Tab Error

For the record: Virtual memory in theory should act like RAM, thus assisting to prevent the issue from happening. Personally, I allot 1-5 GB of hard disk space for RAM, and I never have issues with programs - only with the internet loading pages from time to time, which is due to signal strength and not RAM.

Have you tried to use compatibility mode on the Win7 or Win8 computers? Doesn't always work, but sometimes if you run programs in compatibility mode, they'll work right...

Help Me / Re: The new 3.2

It's a known bug - go to 3.2.1 to take care of it, link showing in the post right before yours

If I'm understanding you right, you're wanting to basically do two tournaments in one, or at least separate the points on a per-table basis. If that's the case, you can't do that points-wise, but as far as player movement, you can turn off the auto-suggest movement settings.  However, you can make adjustments post-tournament to player's scores.

Help Me / Re: How To Remove: "Next Round" Message
« on: May 05, 2013, 07:49:55 PM »
Just so you know, you can click and drag the cell out of the layout, and that will remove it. Alternatively, you can click "hide cell", but there are a few things to remember: (1) You have to do it for every condition listed (even rounds, odd rounds, breaks, odd rounds with antes, etc); (2) It is still technically a part of the layout, and as such, (3) you will see it crossed out on the layout screen.
