Help Me / Re: Recovering the "Main Screen" from the screen sets
« on: August 22, 2008, 04:42:37 AM »
The Default Screen cannont be deleted as it is grayed out.  The Main Screen does not have an option to delete, only add or remove; I can't recall, but going with this assumption, I must've removed it.  Now when I press the add button, the Main Screen is not listed as a selection.

Help Me / Recovering the "Main Screen" from the screen sets
« on: August 21, 2008, 03:51:33 AM »
I accidentally deleted the default "Main Screen" from the screen set, and now when I insert a break, the break screen displays this message: "The active screen set (default) has no screens defined."

What can I do to recover the main screen? and will it bring back the break screen?

Help Me / Re: RE: Formula to Show 1st Place Earnings

That's a great suggestion; however, I don't think it will show the total amount (including bounties, etc.) for the first place finisher.  Is there another way to tackle this?

Under the events tab, I was able to come up with triggers (I used the trigger "when a player busts out") to display a text message showing how much money each player won after they bust out of a tournament.  I used the tokens: hitman, name, and winnings.  But I am unsuccessful in coming up with a trigger for the 1st place finisher.

What formula, tokens, etc. should I use to trigger a message displaying text showing the total money (including bounties, etc.) won by the 1st place finisher of the tournament?

Is it possible to enlarge the display of the seating chart?

Most tournaments I run have just 1 or 2 tables, and it's hard to see who sits where from a distance.

Thanks Corey.

Thanks for the great suggestions.

Corey:  So the non-league participant player who ranks 3rd utilizing the leagueRank variable will not affect the stats for that particular league game?  That means the 4th place league participant finisher will than be 3rd?

25
I apologize for the confusion.  I think it's best to just not let the non-league participant play.  As you mentioned it throws off the rankings, and "isn't right" to have the 3rd place league player be 2nd when he is actually 3rd.  Thanks for helping me realize that this just isn't possible.

Yes, that is exactly what I meant.  The placement of that player and his performance is non-existent (not-tracked).  Since he's not in the league, he's not accounted for.

Would inputing "none" for the non-participating player while the other players have the name of the league inputed for the League field solve this issue?

or could something else be done?

It's a great feature for people who just wants to "jump right into it."  Thanks for your continued support and making an exceptional software.

Hey Corey,

I found a mistake in the quickstart feature.  When I get to the prize distribution selection section, I noticed the percentages for the 10 players or less option, 70% and 20% distribution doesn't add up to 100%.

I think I should be 70% and 30% for 1st and 2nd place finish respectively.  Thought I point that out.

That would be a great feature.  Some tournaments hold as much as 50 players, and it's a heck of a lot easier to identify them by face than by name :-\

I run a league tournament.  Every so often, someone who's not part of the league wants to play but does not want to be affiliated with the league.

My question is:  Is it possible to allow the the non-league participant to participate, but his rank or position in the game does not affect the stats, overall score, hits, etc. of the league game.
