help with my points please

thanks for reading,
i have this so far,  (n*3)-(r*3-3)
yes, 3 points per rank on #of players,
but woud like to have any rank 11th and on to the same point and just 2 points lower than 10th.

ex  11 players
1st 33 2nd 30.....9th 9, 10th 6, 11th 4

and 15 players
1st 45, 2nd 42......9th 21, 10th 18, 11th 16....15th 16.

i added the if(r=>10,n*30-32,0)
but it didnt work.  says formula error, and as i type this now, i can see why.
please help

This should do the trick for you:

if (r<=10, (n*3)-(3*(r-1)), (n*3)-9-(2*(r-1)))

Here's the points breakdown, for a 23-person tournament:

1st, 69.00
2nd, 66.00
3rd, 63.00
4th, 60.00
5th, 57.00
6th, 54.00
7th, 51.00
8th, 48.00
9th, 45.00
10th, 42.00
11th, 40.00
12th, 38.00
13th, 36.00
14th, 34.00
15th, 32.00

ok, this is the formula I am using this year.

if (r<=10, (n*3)-(3*(r-1)), (n*3)-32)

it gives the first 10 players points and evryone after 10 will recieve same point total.
then figures any hit points and bounties.
