I'm not sure why it didn't restore correctly. I was using 3.3, did a backup, went to ver. 3.4b, went back to ver. 3.3, did a restore and lost my stats profiles and had to reset all of my preferences from the preferences tab.

Are stats profiles saved when you do a backup? If so where are these profiles located? I did a backup and when I did a restore the stats profiles did not restore.

Excellent find  i_hate_windows  this worked for me and also seems to have fixed the mouse latency issue that I was having.

I can confirm the loss of keystrokes and mouse clicks. Windows 10, small 8 player tournament with screen transitions turned off.

We have had a league for a number of years and never did rebuys until now. When we discussed having rebuys a couple of people thought that the rebuy chips should be for a lesser amount than the regular starting chips but for the same buy-in.

I thought that re-buys would be for the same amount of chips as regular.

Which is the standard way to do re-buys?

I have posted this in numerous threads about this problem and I still don't know if it works for anyone else, It makes Tournament Director work for me. It is a workaround until a permanent solution is found.

A workaround that seems to work for me is to start TD by clicking on a saved tournament. All buttons seem to work "load", "save" and "save as".

Can anyone having trouble verify if this works for them?

Corey,
That did NOT work for me. Load and Save still do not work but loading by double clicking a saved tournament file makes both both load and save buttons work.

I'm still having the same problem when starting the TD in the normal way, but if I start by clicking a saved tournament and starting the TD everything seems to work ( save, save as, and load buttons ). I'm not sure if this helps with the debugging but it make work for other people as well.

I don't know if this helps or not but I am running Windows 7 and IE 9 all current updates and haven't had a problem. Maybe a Windows 8 issue?
