The bounty chip format we have used is: Each player gets a bounty chip, that they give to the player who eliminates them. They keep and cash in any bounty chips they collect from other players.
If the winner ends up with all the bounty chips there really is no point having them. It's not going to make much difference in play, as I don't care if I get those 2 from you now, or those 2 and the other 7 heads up.
When I win, I will have them all anyway.

You can have it round to $5 then give the remaining to 1st place.
If there is none remaining there is no issue, if there is, it goes to 1st.
In the prize config, click Share Leftover Pot.

I would suggest just don't show dealer buttons.
Tell the players the numbers are just there to show how many per table.
I don't know of a way to leave them out.

I'm not sure why your points are all so low.
I know having 10000's etc is silly. But you have very small fractions.
Why not 1 point for playing, 8th = 5, 7th = 6 etc..
Just have whole numbers.
I think this will save some confusion.

We have enough chips to cover 150 players with the above mentioned stacks at each venue.
Therefore if we get 30 players it would tell us to use:
$25 x 40
$100 x 10
I guess change wont be an issue.

But this is always a preference thing.
We had tournament with $2000 chips as did a competitor.
They used
$1000 x 1
$500 x1
$100 x 4
$25 x 4
We used
$500 x 2
$100 x 8
$25 x 8
TD2 wont know which I prefer. I really hate sitting at a game and having to ask for change ever 2 hands.
So while TD2 may suggest breakdown it will always be unable to please all.

I created a component that allows importing of XML exported files and it tallies the points etc
One feature I added was the exporting of players, it exports in the format required to be imported into TD.
There is a new version coming out soon that currently being tested, you can see the live demo on my league site. Or visit www.lethalmedia.com.au
It doesn't sync the TD database as such, but its a method of having your player databse available in multiple locations.

I would suggest exporting the players and importing them into your other venues db.
This would mean keeping your records in a place that is accessible to both.
If you use Joomla I have a solution for this. We run at 2 venues and can export the players and import them elsewhere. Although currently we just take the laptop to the 2nd venue but technically we wouldn't need to if I had a 2nd one setup.
We also record the results and let the website track leaderboard points etc. I'm not sure how you would go exporting all of this that is done within TD.
