Sound problems
« on: June 25, 2009, 10:42:45 PM »
I'm having a problem with my sound events.  Everytime I have a tournament (around the some point) the sound events acts up.  Once I get to the 13th round or so the sound event that is triggered at the begin of the new blinds goes in a loop.  The sound event goes off every 1/10 of a second.  Meaning that the announcement repeats itself one right after another.  The same announcement.  It's like its in a loop.  The announcement is endless and it sounds like there are fifty voices but the same announcement.  Can anyone help me to solve this problem?

Maybe it's a configuration issue.  Post or send me your Events config (save it as a template).

Starting with round 15, the trigger for the event is incorrectly set to "The clock ticks" instead of "A level starts".  This means it will fire with every tick of the clock so long as the conditions match the current tournament state, and since the conditions are "roundNum = 15", they will match for the entire level, so it will fire at every clock tick during that level.

So, for the following events, change the trigger to "A level starts":

350 & 700 Blinds
400 & 800 Blinds
500 & 1000 Blinds
1000 & 2000 Blinds

Corey,

Thanks for your help.  I'll try that and I hope that solves the problem.

Once again, thank you

Always grateful,
