Max Prize
« on: December 12, 2016, 07:04:45 PM »
Hi there had a few previous questions but always found a answer till this one.

Is it possible to set a max prize? For example.

If I collected 100 and had first prize to be paid at 55% but a max payout of 50 could I limit this and then move the excess to 2nd place?  As the prize would be 55.

If I collected 50 on same principles first prize would be 27.50 and would be less than the max 50 and would not need changing.

Hope this makes sence.

I don't think so ... at least not at this time.  There is still a feature request to allow prize amounts to be computed using formulas, but it hasn't made it into the code yet.  Until then, I don't think there's a way to cap the prize amount without simply using a fixed amount for the prize.

No problem thanks for the reply and will be why I couldn't work it out. I like the idea of formula prizes but I guess that would only really be of use for what I need it to do.

Thinking about it I maybe able to do it manually if the prize goes over or I may just scrap the idea of a max prize.

Cheers again.
