I must be a idiot because i still cannot get the Status updates to work
all the files are on my web server (in the same place)
I have altered the permissions it says 0777 which i guess gives full read/write capabilities to the file/s
I've pointed TD at the location of the listener file (http://www.MYSITE.co.uk/statusListener.php) (Method GET)
I can see that TD is trying to update "Pending" then "Fail"

are there any other options that i should try before i hit my computer with a hammer?

Cheers

I've tried and tried to make this update thing work to no avail

I guess that i must have sonthing wrong in the setup

I have sent the 4 files to my web server, i have tried getting them to work in the Public HTML folder and in their own folder
i have altered the permissions to allow the files to write (i think)

i guess that I am trying to send the info from TD3 (beta version) to the wrong file
What do i need to put in the "Send the status of the tournament to a URL" section? mine says http://www.MYSITE.co.uk/StatusUpdates/TournamentStatus.html

cheers

Help Me / Re: Re-Entry
« on: August 27, 2010, 10:42:16 AM »
Thanks, that is all i really wanted to know. it was only because a few casinos here in the UK are promoting re-entry tournaments, and i was hoping that TD could do the same. I already do this with the rebuy option anyway.

PS
fantastic software Corey

I dont want to call it a re-buy tournament, the point is late entries are allowed to join the tournament during the first two or three levels subject to available seats. Some of the players who bust out early have asked if they can re-enter the tournament, this would be a better option for me.

Hi

is there a way to re-enter a player into a tournament once he (or she) has been busted out?

i know i could allow rebuys, but the tournament is a freezeout tournament in which late entries are allowed, and a re-entry would be a better solution/option for me.

Many thanks in advance

Suggestions / Re: Opening new windows for multi-monitors.

Would it not be an easier option that the diolog boxes do not close when you press the ok button? that way you open for example the Rebuy player screen drag it to your second monitor, rebuy players during the tourament, pressing the ok button updates Tournament screen the rebuy box stays open for the next rebuy.

Just an idea

I understand what you are saying, if i make the buyin for example £55 and the per player rake £5, the 5% the system takes is 5% of the £55 and not 5% of the £50.

The entry fee is a registration fee for the tournament and not a rake as such. the really simple solution is to not show it on the system at all but thats to easy. but its a nice figure to show on the players total spent in the stats

Help Me / Entry Fee / Per Player Rake

I seem to have a small probem which perhaps you are able to help me with.

I run a poker club and am entering all the tournament and players information from the previous 2 yeas into your program, before I get to far into this task i need to ask a question, probably 1 of many that will crop up over the next week or two.

I charge a entry fee for each player who joins the tournament, this is in addition to a 5% rake of the total prize pool. I have entered the entry fee ammount in the "Per-Player rake" box which seems to be the natural place for it, but on the summary screen the entry fee is deducted from the prize money as "Buy-ins Rake",

Is there a way to charge an entry fee which is not added to the the rake deducted from the prize money?

many thanks
